Please, Sup Forums, prove to me that MMO's are not dead. Dont shill XIV, WoW, Black Desert or any of those ones I keep seeing pop up, I want to know some comfy ones I can sink myself in to.

Everyone definition of comfy is different. I think ESO and FF14 are comfy to play on and off. You most likely don't based on your response.

What do you want? Some niche MMORPG then?

I just mean everytime I see an MMO thread, people constantly talk about XIV and ESO and stuff. I've tried both of those and sunk a lot of time into XIV, but I want something else

I guess, or just some ones that are still popular but hidden away

You're just a dumb nigger, user.

It really ends up being a hunt of trying stuff yourself. You'll find a problem with most of the games by the end of the day because the MMO genre is pretty garbage now.

The list pretty much ends up being
WoW, FF14, ESO, GW2,
Black Desert, Tera, Blade and Soul, Archeage,
Neverwinter, ToR

Niche shit (and by this I mean stuff never talked about but I'm sure have a playerbase still)

Skyforge & Rift off the top of my head.

Every game will be shit on, and it ends up being what you are willing to deal with. I can't play MMOs hard like I use to, so why I stick with stuff I'm already at level cap and are pretty casual.

Is Mabinogi the comfiest MMO

PANTHEON PLS

It'll probably not deliver and be a let down.

STO.

TERA is fun until endgame.

I have every class at 65 because the leveling part of the game is pretty fun, but I hate the gear grind after hitting 65.

>comfy

End yourself.

Isn't it ded?
All games I used to play are dead now. Even though I found a good latino S4League server, the community is full of soulless drones who live to kill and never chat.

Wildstar.

Yes, not dead, with its one (1 (I (Uno)) sever.

I played some of this awhile ago for the waifu material and wide hips, is it still alive?

>Prove to me this genre is not dead
>but don't post the biggest most thriving ones.

Play dressup simulator while harboring a deep hatred for the english speaking population with PSO2

What does Sup Forums think of the points offered up in this paper? I think it's interesting that at both a system and individual level that leveling up is a negative peak.

I wish RIFT was still good.

I wish I could get into an MMO and stick with it.

I've only played on one server, and from what I saw it was active, but not as "chatty" as some other games. You might have to find a guild that is social.

FFXI

MMOs are dead, it's time to make the switch.

MUDs

it's a shame HellMOO/InfernoMOO is limping so bad, but popular MUDs are out there if you can stoumach the format.

All of those games are as shallow as a kiddy pool.

If you want comfy then LOTRO was the best, though I've heard it has declined to f2p hell now

This is why i went back to EVE: Online, OP.

The latest content and patches has been a breath of fresh air for EVE and a lot of new members and lots of veteran players returning.
