Hello traveler can I interest you in a Breath of the Wild thread?
Hello traveler can I interest you in a Breath of the Wild thread?
Now if you don't reply to this your mother will die in her sleep tonight!
There's 50 other threads
Give me your boots
I get that, but the joke wouldn't've worked except at the start of thread
Give me your bananas!
That quest line set up is hilarious.
I wish we had more fights like this.
Oh wow
k
fuck off bananaman
>you cant chase after him in the hole
I was kind of mad about that
I wish we had more fights like Thunderblight Ganon, that required you to actually be good at the game's combat to win.
Unless you cheese it with one of his metal spikes
There can be only one banana edgelord.
>The Champions got fucked by low power Blight Ganons
>Link handles these exact same things except MORE POWERFUL (because Ganon only gets stronger over time) with no issue
>Link handles them at a time when he is at his absolute weakest
What is their excuse? Was Link really THAT much better than the Champions?
He was easy to cheese if you had a hammer.
The way I understood it was
>Ganon appears 100 years ago, full power, kills literally fucking everyone but Zelda manages to trap him in the castle and seal his powers
>Over the course of 100 years, he's been slowly regaining his powers
He never lost his powers, Zelda's seal weakened over 100 years. Basically everyone besides Link is a colossal fuckup until the very end when Zelda realizes she has an entire triforce inside her.
What else do I need for a sick ass journey across hyrule on the paraglider? I'm thinking death mountain as a starting point
>1 good tireless frog elixir for max stamina boost
>100 billion stamella shrooms for stamina restoration
>3+ wheels
>revali's
>maybe some gear if it exists
SS > BOTW
That is all
If you saw the last memory, all those dead guardians at Fort Hateno were handled by Link alone except like two
When does Kilton start selling the Dark Link shit? Do I have to buy his other stuff for it to show up?
Also what can be done with giant ancient cores?
>found a Lynel with 4000 hp
I think he likes me
Perhaps some flame arrows to create emergency updrafts could help as well.
That seems really situational. I suppose if I was approaching a grassy mountain near the end, it could give me a few extra yards.
I should max out the distance from the wizzrobe shrine before doing this probably
>Tfw STILL NO LYNEL PORN
I'm ready for action!
uhkl
Someone told me you could find a Dark Link outfit in the pitch black spot on the map. I've found the shrine but it only has a guardian core. Been running aimlessly around the darkness for a while. Did I get Mew under the truck'd?
Protip: there's a Korok in the Shrine of Resurection
Where do I find the last lost memory on the album, the one at the very bottom right corner. It's the only one I'm missing.
Yes, you get it from Kiltons shop
fuck
yes, you have to beat all 4 dungeons then find the monster shop guy at night and buy it for a bunch of monster parts
Character design is hideous in this game
he will kill you
You're shitting me.
It only appears after you find your first Korok outside I think, I've found it long after I left the plateau when I warped back because I realized I forgot to beat Step Talus.
He gave it his best shot senpai
He's a big lynel.
Wait really? Guess imma search a bit then.
Don't bother finding it before you leave it, it only sets up home there after you leave.
look harder, user...
I know. That kind of shit is my point. Blight Ganons are effectively just chunks of Ganon's Soul using a guardian as an engine and the other Champions couldn't even handle one.
Redpill me on cooking. I know that multiple different ingredients with the same effect will increase the buff's level, but what determines the duration?
It seems extra non-buff food just increases the healing instead, and it also seems like the exact same ingredients will SOMETIMES produce a stronger dish for some reason.
That picture is shit
Spear Lynels literally cannot hit you if you unlock and move to their left hoof.
There's actually some Lynel porn based on the Zelda 1 instruction manual, but fuck if I can find it.
Nice tip, I'll give it a shot
Ohok thanks. This is fun! NUDE ADVENTURE!
Use different ingredients that give the same buff. At least 3. Seasonings boost either healing or buff duration.
Monster Extract seems to just double your duration.
:(
When do fairies respawn and arrows restock in stores?
I've had 3 blood moons pass and they don't come back
>going about on own business
>hear sudden gust of wind
>HAHAHAHAHA
Will these Yiga fucks never leave me alone
thanks, man I am THIS fucking close to just buying the guide
Just got to vah naboris. God damn, it's so far the best dungeon. However... The frame rate makes me cry. It's just unbearable.
I need to get me a switch.
You should really just stick to making full recovery + max heart fruit simmers. You don't need anything else.
To make them get some coconuts, apples, wild berries, and durians.
Then do 1 durian + a mix of the other fruit.
Yes, Link is and always has been canonically strong as fuck.
Is there a time limit for picking up shooting stars? I marked this one but it's gone now.
In all seriousness what do they do with all these bananas?
Switch is pretty much the same senpai, don't even bother
For real? I've been wasting five durians by meal and I could have used apples?
>I've had 3 blood moons pass
Are you just sitting there or going to different regions? You have to leave a region for anything to respawn.
Why did the Rito faggot treat him like shit, then? It really doesn't make any sense unless somehow Link had never done anything to earn a reputation which is obviously false based on Zelda already knowing who he is before he's even assigned to her.
Cook them for attack buffs.
I'm watching walktrough videos in the same part and it seems way more playable than in my experience...
Until the night is over I believe.
Revali is pissed that he's just a glorified sidekick
Eat them obviously
Thing is, I'm sitting on like 200 various meat and haven't encountered a durian. berries and coconuts seem sparse
It'll only add 5 hearts, but I already have 25 red hearts anyway so it's not like +15 would help me.
Darunia lost to Volvagia, remember that. Just assume no one has Link's maneuvarbility except a few other monsters. Plus your Zora gf didn't have a slate to cheese Water Blight with.
yeah
Berries are in Gerudo highlands and the mountains north of Rito village.
Durians are in the jungle area. I feel like I got 200 from just looking for koroks for 30 minutes.
Why the fuck can I not get the optional chest in the Mirro Shaz golf shrine?
No matter how straight I get it, it always falls short or hits the size and flies right off
>that memory where Zelda cries because everything is fucked
...
so what are the requirements for best ending? Just all dungeons and memories?
Or do the different endings work along the same lines as "you can use yellow hearts to pull the master sword" i.e, fake news
If this were not a Zelda game, would it be even close to as popular as it is? I really don't understand what's so great about it. It's a mediocre open world game with light RPG elements. It's been done better before, but because it's Zelda it's the greatest game ever made, I guess.
You've never heard of envy?
purah a cute
Meat actually heals more health by default than fruit does.
Just do 3 whatever meat and sub in durians for hearty beat, plus 1 salt.
I'm pretty sure you need the master sword, all dungeons complete, and all the memories.
There's two endings. Normal and True. True needs all the memories and dungeons. There should've been a Bad End for people who didn't even complete all the dungeons.
kill yourself
I just did all the Korok trials. Is it true that doing them lowers the heart requirement to get the Master Sword?
really wish they added a korok seed sensor since there's fucking 900 of them
That Lonely in the Gerudo Highlands is brotier
>Just trying to find that 8th statue for the side quest
>See a Lynel and he spots me from a long distance
>Get scared thinking he is going to attack me as he pulls his weapon out
>He still looks on at me running on the edge of the mountain but puts back his weapon and takes out his bow instead
>He still keeps looking at me, not doing anything until I leave the area
Never seen an enemy that just studies your movements like that.
Can someone explain to me why the fuck I cant die my clothes sheikah blue. Its such an amazing color I want it.
There's just no point in collecting them all.
I'd say you're done when you have all the inventory slot upgrades
FUCK
Yes, just do all the objectives in the main quest.
Kek
>doing second blue flame quest
>follow torches to the source killing all enemies along the way for a smoothe trek back
>get the flame and light 2 torches
>a wild blood moon appears
>motherfucker appears right after I just slayed 15 moblins and bokoblins.
fuck it all
its not that it's just that i've barely been able to find any in my 10-11 hours of playing, and i've been searching high and low
i've only found about 10
and THICC
So apparently there's a costume in BOTW that you can get that's almost identical to the classic amiibo costume. Anyone know how to get that?
GIMME YER BANANAS
Beat all the shrines
>>i've only found about 10
Literally how? They're fucking everywhere. 10-11 hours in I had about 30-40.
Someone had a good pasta about it but the archive is shitting itself. TL;DR the physics interactions create emergent gameplay (google it) rarely seen outside of tech demos so for it to be in a fully functioning game really sells it. This alone saves the entire game desu.
i dont know
maybe im just missing something
i resorted to looking up locations to them and maybe i'm just retarded
apparently there's a lot hidden under rocks so i'll start checking under them
