If every "hyped" game this year (Automata, BotW, Mario Odyssey, P5 etc) gets a perfect score then it's just going to diminish the value of a perfect score.
How many games have ever gotten a perfect score and at that, deserved it?

Why? It's not their fault actually less deserving games have gotten such an honor in the past. They're actually making fantastic games now. Blame the undeserving games of the past for this stigma.
