Best console ever
Best console ever
>1 Game
>spent $550 to play Zelda
Most fun I've had playing a game in years but I still have buyers remorse because I haven't spent money on games since the PS2.
The only game in sigh looks like the MK8 port and there's no way I'd pay full price to unlock a mode that I wouldn't even play.
Then there's Yooka and some Mario games who knows how long away, what have I done.
oh the IRONY
hes right you know, sony has exclusives like nioh, bloodborne and multiplats, pc has tons of exclusives like civ, CS:go and multiplats.
switch only has zelda and its not that great of if a game, getting only 75.
>Best console ever
Yeah. That's why Nintendo is jacking up the price of their Wii U's. Because the Switch is SO good that they have to make their 4 year old console the same price as a launch 20GB PS3.
fpbp
>Switch is $300
>BotW is $60
Where did the other $190 go, user?
this people ignoring lmao
switch has been out for one week, the ps4 has been out for five god damn years and it has like 4 or five worthwhile games
are you actually mentally impaired?
Australian, should've mentioned in the post.
Console was 470, game was 70 and the jew behind the counter also stealth scanned a $20 screen protector so I spent closer to 600.
huh, 2 days ago Wii U bundles were $288, I know because I was looking at Pro controllers.
damn boi, nintecuks asses sure be sore
He was implying the ps4 had no games i told him it does, the same with pc too why are you only focusing on ps4?
The both have great games.
>switch has been out for one week, the ps4 has been out for five god damn years and it has like 4 or five worthwhile games
Neat. I didn't get my PS4 until last fall, and I only got it because the exact console I wanted (pic related) hit the price I wanted to pay for it (200).
I've enjoyed Bloodborne, Far Cry 4, Dark Souls 2, Dark Souls 3, FFXV, Zero Dawn Horizon, and will be enjoying Nier Automata as soon as I finish with BotW for my Wii U. By the time I'm done both of those, Persona 5 should be available.
If you're arguing that you should wait to purchase the Switch until it hits a more desirable price point, or has more games released for it, I'm with you. Doesn't exactly back up the "Best Console Ever" title though, at least not yet.
The sellers are doing that, Wii U Pro controllers literally doubled/tripled in price in the last 3 days.
Definitely.
>The sellers are doing that.
Nintendo is the seller in the image I showed. They are also the seller of the $285 refurbished Wii U with Nintendoland.
This is a ton of fanboy insecurity. Sony fans cannot pass a Nintendo thread without posting "muh sony"
Not on Amazon, they weren't. I got that image 3 days ago.
...
>pro controller $70
>screen protector $10
>$128gb SD card $40
>playstand $15
>pouch $15
>BOTW collectors edition book $30
Unless the PS1, 2 and SNES dissapear, no
Did you miss the part where I said I was currently passing up on Nier automata in order to play BotW?
>ignoring a screencap of an opinion
the ps4 has great games you either like them or don't, same for Nintendo xbox or pc.
How? It literally has one worthwhile game on it,which is also a multiplat. The console it self is also shit.
Did Zelda fuck up your brain?
> The dock is so shit you need a screen protector
> power bank
> pro controller because the other one is shit
> other games (shovel knight, i am setuna)
>No consoles this entire generation had any games
I think it's time to hang up this medium.
>1 game
King Of Fighters 98
FAST rmx
Snipperclips
Blaster Master Zero
Super Bomberman R
try harder anin
I can't check what day it was, but it was Tues/Wed
Sunday I bought a U Pro controller for $60 that arrives today (Saturday), went to check again when got paranoid for an hour that it might be fake, so I went to checkout the seller since in a rare turn of events I barely checked the seller when buying it Sunday. Half the listings were gone, and they were double/triple the price, and a new seller appeared that had apparently just made the profile which screams FAKE. But my seller is still around, they're just not listed as selling it anymore, so either I got SUPER FUCKING lucky, or I'm getting a fake. Seller was RAREWAVES USA.
I had also checked bundles out just for shits and giggles and they were normal price.
more like the other way around
Sony mostly shits on pc and pc shits back Nintentoddlers start shit with Sony.
Still how's your first 2weeks on Sup Forums treating you?
>ps4 having ALMOST no games five years after console release
>this is somehow an opinion and not a known fact sony fanboys fight each and every day to counter
lmaoing at your life
-spent 0$ on zelda (or whatever i bought the wii u for 2 years ago).
-Haxchi and mocha cfw and some shitty sd and usb from walmart.
-actually the most fun I have had with video games in a long time.
-highly recommend
It's usually pretty easy to tell if its a knockoff.
I don't have a knockoff U controller, but only because knockoff Wii motes and knockoff Classic Pro controllers were cheaper, even when you combined the two. That said, there would be ovals where you would see "Nintendo" to be built into the plastic on the back, and it was just an oval with nothing on it.
I'm an idort, though i mostly game on PC.
PS4 has tons of games to play they just arent all
>muh exclusive games
last of us
bloodborne
GTA5
and tons more whether you like them or not there are tons.
Same with PC.
>try harder
You should do the honors first though
ok
I am Setsuna
Shovel Knight
top launch
Looks like now the controllers are back to normal price and that obvious fake seller is gone.
Not really and I love Nintendo.
thanks for the (you) though
>paid online with no games to play online
>no chat
>friend codes
>720p in 2017
>screen scratches easily
>joycons have a 2 foot connection range
>no games til Mario in December - Zelda is on Wii U
It's a 5/10 at best. Call me in 3 years when it has 2 games worth playing.
The sudden realization had me wondering if my 360 controller and Japanese white GC controller were fake, so I checked them out, don't think there's a way to tell with GC controllers since they lack the text, and the 360 one has worked fine for years so I don't care, GC controller has barely been used.
I think it has the potential to be the best console for local multiplayer but I don't know if it will reach that potential.
Official GC controllers have stuff printed on the front. Picking up a knockoff from Gamestop a few years ago, there was nothing printed on the front.
Problem with the GC knockoff I have is the same issue I have with regular GC controllers - the soft rubber on the left joystick eventually tears. The knockoffs just tear MUCH sooner.
not really the ds and psp did that far better
>big Nintendo fan here but they've been shit for years. still waiting for those AAA games that Xbox and Playstation get
That's a surprisingly well thought out post. I'm a massive Nintendo fanboy, but I'm definitely waiting until there's some games I really want to play on the Switch.
Still really happy with the Wii U and my ps4 has lots of games backlogged, although it's gathering dust because of Zelda.
That said, I've still got 360 and Wii games backlogged that I really really want to finish, so I'm very content with what I've got now and look forward to getting a Switch probably later this year.
GC controller seems legit, 360 controller got years of years of use and worked great, even has the hologram sticker, ....can those things be faked yet ?
Still slightly worried about the Pro controller.
Can we just ignore bait threads for (you)s?
this is a nintendo thread friend. whats wrong, dont you feel safe, sonybro?

>I'm a massive Nintendo fanboy, but I'm definitely waiting until there's some games I really want to play on the Switch.
Nothing wrong with having your brand of choice. Nothing wrong with that at all. The key is to assess what the product offers you in terms of usability, and to give that assessment a price, which can fluctuate over time (more games you want to play causes the price to go up, but time on the market causes the price to go down).
Unless the system hits that "acceptable price point" that you assess it at (which could be totally different from mine), it's best to hold off. You'll get hardware revisions that improve the life and quality of the system, too (and even if it lessens the quality of the system, like removing PS2 BC from the newer batches of PS3s, you can still find those models online for less than the price that the launch PS3s initially went for).
Right now, the switch could be 20 bucks, and I wouldn't pick it up. I've got BotW for the Wii U, and there's nothing else I want for it at the moment. Add the cost of accessories like the Pro Controller, which is what I would want to play on, and it's just not worth it to me. In 6 months, however, my valuation of the product could go from zero dollars to 300 quite easily. That's on Nintendo to do, though.
>Still worried about the pro controller.
Than return it, making up an issue, and buy one that you are confident is real. I spent 45 bucks on a Pro Controller about a year ago. It was a Japanese one, and it works just fine to this day.
yeah, I have videos/pics of fake ones ready to go.
I just want it for BotW since the U gamepad is shit.
its a last gen Wii U game at that
>runs better on wii u
>more stable on wii u
If that's all you're wanting it for, I imagine the Pro Controller will do you just fine.
That said, if you're looking to put hundreds of hours on it, playing shit like MK8 or Smash with friends, as well as BotW, I would just return it and set your mind at ease.
I'm one of those guys that doesn't mind plopping down an extra 20 bucks at walmart to give myself peace of mind.
RESTOCK NINTENDO YOU FUCKING FAGGOTS REEEEEEEEEEEE
I'll use it for some other games.
Stores were out, BB has them on clearance for $40, price wasn't the issue, issue was finding any of them in tock, stores would have taken weeks to get more in.
>eloquent elaboration
>absolutely requires pro controller
I figure the pro controller was great for Wii and Wii U seeing as how the packaged controllers were a bit more than impractical for intense gameplay.. not really the case with the Switch though. joycons within the grip feels and plays like a pro controller.
I would consider getting a pro controller eventually just for variety when playing multiplayer, I don't think needing one is mandatory
i actually enjoy the shape of the joycons in grip more than any other controller. i think they really hit the nail on the head with this one
Yeah, then I would just go to BB, pick one up, and return the knockoff.
That's totally fine. It's ok for you to put different values on what you want out of your system than I do. The free market will do its job, and everyone will get what they want for the price they want, OR decide that they are happier with the money in their pocket/spent on something else.
/thread
and I hope the stocks you've invested in do well
BB will take weeks, we'll see what happens when it comes.
That dude is selling his switch for a cent. I'd take it. Gonzalaz sounds like an alright guy.
Zelda is multiplat though.
it's some kind of cartel laundering front, I can just feel it
Playstation 4 is the best console ever. Best exclusives and hardware to date. For a console anyway.
where is it hiding behind that trash?
p in 2017
"900p" with shit AA and 20fps in docked mode.
thats fucking worse than most 360 launch games from 2005 which ironically had proper 4xAA
>not even out for 4 years yet
>fuck it i'll round it up to 5 years lmao
how does this change the fact that it only has one game?
mfw the Switches only game is also on another console
I think I'm doing something wrong when I'm booting up the system. If I just press the button, the TV and Switch screen stay dark. If I hold the button, the TV lights up, Switch screen turns on, or both stay dark. I sometimes have to cycle the system on and off a few times before the Switch finally goes to TV mode.
Any tips? I feel like I'm missing something obvious.
