Watch the movie

>watch the movie
>it's boring and dumb
>check wikipedia because I'm certain they fucked up the plot
>they didn't

Seriously? This passes for AAA consolefag entertainment? Fuck, you people are dumb.

>unlikable main character, somehow more unlikable than desmond
>strayed from anything the first and second game tried to portray
>removed any sense of suspense and secrecy for Abstergo, there was nothing to be scared of since you saw literally fucking everything
>both past and current timeline characters are mary-sues
>not a single likable character
>no questioning ideas and theories that were yielded in ANY of the games (esp. 1 & 2)
>its shit
oh well big surprise huh??????????

Is good video game movie even possible, like really good one? Everyone have a boner for Last of Us story, but would that be wrecked by critics too? Does video games even have good enough stories?

Warcraft movie was O.K desu

>check wikipedia because I'm certain they fucked up the plot
>they didn't
What do you mean? It's not an adaptation of any specific AC game.

This. It was far from perfect, but it was enjoyable.
All the Orc scenes were 10/10.

The RE movies are solid shit but very entertaining. They need to make a game adaptation of the movies

get the fuck out of here China

I honestly enjoyed the Silent Hill movie way more than I should.

I guess the Tomb Raider movies were alright since Lara Croft was actually based off of Angelina Jolie.

Fuck off. The human acting was cosplay-tier, the plot needlessly retarded and Metzen's dindu nuffin Orcs were atrocious. Guldan was the only good thing about the movie.

Not to mention everyone going FEL FEL FEL FEL

Prince of Persia is okay.

Mortal Kombat holds up pretty well.

If you forget about the source material, Super Mario Bros. is enjoyable.

Scott Pilgrim and The Scorpion King are the best video game movies that aren't based off a real video game.

Wreck-it Ralph is okay, but it's a standard Disney film where the first 20 minutes is gratuitous cameos and the rest is SUGARRRR RUSHHHHHH

>Wreck-it Ralph

Finale was pretty great. Fuck Sarah Silverman though.

>Is good video game movie even possible

angry birds

Stories in videogames are mostly SETTINGS and that's how it should be most of the time.

Not saying that some videogames have actually good story, it's just even more rare than Hollyturd movies, and that's saying a lot.

>Lara Croft was actually based off of Angelina Jolie

Where did you get that notion from?

I haven't seen it yet. How is he worse than Desmond?

It would've been better had they have stuck with Harry instead of a female mc, but it's still one of the best vidya movies.

>A series on every platform
>hurr durr consolefags

How did you come to this conclusion?

Finale was basically Iron Giant. Still good though.

What do you mean by fucked up the plot?

If you're asking whether it's like in the video games, it isn't. It has similiarities but almost every detail is different.

Also the movie is complete trash.

More Layton movies when?

Plot was trash but I loved the action scenes

Wreck it Ralph and Animal Crossing

ah yes, because when i think of the warcraft series 'nuanced performances' is the first thing that comes to mind. lmao

Orc acting was good but humans sucked. It seemed like the whole budget went to the CGI effects and they hired people off the streets for the actual human roles...

>consolefag entertainment
>Ass Creed has been on PC since the first game

ALWAYS the Mortal Kombat movie. But only the first.

Series is tongue in cheek as fuck and the movie had the perfect amount of cheese to match that.
It wasnt perfect canon, but it took just the right liberties to make it work.
