>making money off of copying someone else's hardware

How didn't they get a cease and desist yet

pfft, thats nothing

How do we stop the betas?

World War III

Mass murders

Virgin males above 20 should be executed. They have clearly failed to mature into an adult.
t. 25 y/o virgin male

nobody is copying anything you retard. you dont understand emulation

>implying you wouldn't sell your body for cash if you had anything worth selling

>you'd totally be whore
Quit projecting, filth.

wtf

>this is how thirsty PC "master race" is for Zelda

Betas are a problem, but they can be culled. The world has bigger problems:
>trans, furries, cucks, SJW's, feminists

It just occurred to me that these are all subcategory's of Betas. We're past due for a cataclysmic meteor or deluge.

For u

you go first then

I said "executed" retard.
If I had the willpower to pull the trigger I wouldn't be a 25 year old virgin in the first place.

the problem isn't the selling, it's the retards who are buying

We're talking about getting rid of buyers, not sellers, dingus.

>trans, furries, cucks, SJW's, feminists
Muslims and poltards too.

4U

GOOD SHIT

I wonder if Nintendo is going to sue them. Probably waiting until they make more money from donations so they can take all of it. They should probably prepare themselves.

>Muslims and poltards too.

I can agree with this. Plenty of cleansing fire or flood to go around.

I don't know how nintendo doesn't know about this and get it shut down. I'm not a fanboy but you'd think a giant megacorp would notice a 13k patreon that publically advertised "We're emulating this for free here, eat it. " then again, the people they're aiming for were never going to buy a switch nor do they own the wii u to play zelda. So I guess nintendo lets them exist.

I lost my virginity when I was 23 and am started dating a 19 year old chick when I was 27, don't be a fatalistic pussy and do something about your lack of charisma.

How are they going to win in court when Sony failed multiple times?

Trigger the beta uprising, and laugh as they all get killed off within an hour

Nintendo is usually pretty lenient with emulation; they only really step in when people are trying to profit from it. Which seems to be the case here. But then again, they're not actually ''selling'' it.

That's not to say they approve, just normally don't bother with it.

It's not the selling that's the issue. It's those thirsty dudes who make it such a lucrative viability.

Because Sony tried to sue a small developer selling his playstation emulator at retail two decades ago and made a fucking fool of themselves, and that's been the precedent ever since.

>This thread reposted 20 times already just yesterday

Its about time to abandon this board.

Con fucking grats on being the exception.
You were never as emotionally and socially defective as the average manchild.

Bleem! was a piece of sold retail software.

>Nintendo doesn't get MY money!
>Please take my money, I NEED Nintendo games!

Ultimately Bleem! won in court and a protective order was issued to "protect David from Goliath".[1] Sony lost on all counts, including Bleem!'s use of screenshots of PlayStation games on its packaging. The court noted that Bleem!'s use of copyrighted screenshots was considered fair use and should be allowed to continue.

Despite the legal victories, the legal fees allegedly forced the company out of business. eBay auctions of some of the company's possessions were held soon after - including a huge library of worldwide game releases apparently used for compatibility testing.

All they have to do is take them to court and run them out of money. They don't even have to win.

?

Okay, okay, cool, but how are they going to do that when the judge is just going to look at the previous cases and use the existing legal precedent to rule against Nintendo?

With Bleem, you actually still had to buy the Playstation games though. Sony would have only lost hardware sales but all their monies came from software.

He's saying that these people refuse to pay nintendo to play their games, but willingly pay to pirate them.

It's cheaper, obviously, but pretty hypocritical.

A product is worth what the market is willing to pay. Which is apparently a lot. Damn, I need patronbux.

>pirate
*emulate

>refuse to pay X amount of money to one group
>accept to donate Y amount of money to another group
Fucking hypocrites, man.

As long as it works.

>Apples don't get MY money!
>Please take my money, I NEED oranges!
I think that's sensible.

>I would buy this product if it were provided on my platform of choice
>give money to the people who make it available
>hypocritical

How so?

If Nintendo made a digital service for PC where you can buy their games from a Nintendo e-shop to play in their own proprietary software environment (kinda like Xbox for windows), I'd be all over that. Nintendo hardware is a ripoff and it has been for quite some time.

>Nintendo can't do shit about this.

Don't forget the jews at the center of it all.

>Nintendo hardware is a ripoff and it has been for quite some time.
Fucking this. I really want their games but not on their garbage platforms.

Would the assblast be worse if Bloodborne was adequately emulated?

And wait for your execution.

ps4 has some other games now too, botw is literally all nintendo has for the moment

>I will change the terms so it seems less bad

You wouldn't have to do this if it wasn't wrong.

>I would buy this product if it were provided on my platform of choice

Irrelevant. They made it for their platform. You're not entitled to play it on any other platform, regardless of your feelings.

So you don't agree with their platform. That's respectable. But you're not entitled to their software, which is why you're pirating it. Oh wait, "Emulating" it. ;^)

It doesn't matter how many ways you twist and change the terminology to go through these mental gymnastics of making your actions "justified" or legit. You're still a filthy pirate.

How can you copy hardware in the form of software
rly maeks u thenk

>this is how thirsty PC "master race" is for Zelda

The average patron is only giving $4 a month, go look at those faggots who draw furry commissions they earn 150k a month.

because emulators are legal.

They are legally allowed as backups if you own the original hardware and software (games).

Sure they could probably win with argument that it advocates piracy.

>You're still a filthy pirate.
umm, rude?

Shut it down Nintendo

My apologies. Mr filthy pirate.

Wrong. I'm not pirating nor emulating anything, nor is that something I generally participate in. I may run it just to see how the emulation is working out but I'm simply stating a fact. Nintendo hardware has not been worth the purchase for at least a good decade at this point. If they had a PC option like everyone else is jumping on board to these days, I'd totally start building a legit library of digital Nintendo shit.

>You wouldn't have to do this if it wasn't wrong.
Emulation is legally not considered piracy.
>You're not entitled to play it on any other platform, regardless of your feelings.
Untrue; emulators are legally considered fair competition.

>you will never be a half-decent artist and make thousands through donations and commissions

You need to be a part of their degenerate community though, if an outsider tries to make money off them they will REEE like /r9k/ when they see a normalfag.

Okay, I know people are interested in this emulator, but how the fuck are they receiving such donations rapidly?

It was like fucking $9k two days ago.

Fair enough.

Emulators are legal, that is correct. Just so long as you're using a legal copy of the game. Which I'm sure everyone is, right?

>You're still a filthy pirate.
I do not care. Nintendo fleeces people with their jacked up hardware and hourly revisions, so they can shove it up their ass.

youtu.be/HLWY7fCXUwE?t=12m50s

You deserve a bullet to the back of the head, corporate shill.

and pirate niggers (worthless scum) like you should be hanged.

>nothing to contribute
>escalates to violence

Come and get me mr internet tough guy.

Basically, we should all die. Welcome to Sup Forums.

>She has way fewer patrons but makes way more money

She has a small amount of guys willing to give her huge amounts of money. I always see this with these female model patreons.

Crowdfunding was a mistake.

jealous?

like this guy who makes 3d animations of Laura Croft fucking with a horse

>was
it still is

Oh fuck. I should pick up blender and shit. Based on that screenshot it doesn't even have to look good

That's more than 2k$ per patron.
These men dumisgust me.

Holy shit, $13k? that's an ever worse ripoff than that flash furry game that went nowhere. Are people that retarded?

>Nintendo
>lenient with anything
They would absolutely shut this down immediately if they COULD. They are probably seething with rage to see this happen.

nintendo doesn't need to win to destroy cemu dude, legal fees are ridiculously expensive regardless of the outcome

Okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, cool, I get that, okay, but how are they going to create a long and drawn out legal battle to bankrupt them if the judge will at best rule against them immediately and at worst will be ruled frivolous?

>That's not to say they approve, just normally don't bother with it.

Sure, any company would if they could. They just don't bother with it because it would be wasted time and money.

I guess I should've said they tolerate it.

>That's more than 2k$ per patron.
What the fuck?

Before Zelda it was at 6,000 or something?

Really makes me think.
So are they going to milk it and intentionally slow their progress for a year now?

The more money they are given the more they are going to hold back content

>Heh. I don't care what people think of me. That's what makes me an adult!
>wahoo! *blip-bloop* let's a-go!

I have a PS4 but I'd be glad to be able to play it at 60FPS and even with mods,

Imagine if you could mod DS3 weapons and armor and movement mechanics in BB and play BB as a claymore and shield Knight.

Uh-huh. This one guy with the conveniently closed-source project is developing an emulator faster than entire communities do. No copying of propriety code no sir.

>mfw Sup Forums mad at me for downloading LoZ right now and downloading the pattron emulator version for free
I'm going to enjoy my new game :)

Isn't your greentext what Switch's marketing is based on?

>You can take your Nintendo Switch to a house party and bing bing 1up wahoo letsago in front of your peers!

15,121 divided by 662 is ~22 dollars per patron

Honest question. Can't Nintendo just shut it down?

can't read replies ? emulator itself is legal

No. Making the emulator itself is not illegal. Emulating games is also legal if you own a copy of the game and dump your own copy.

Nope.
And it's better that the shut the fuck up, otherwise it will be all over the news.

>legal
It's not like the area is grey as shit. One day Nintendo will do something about this.

Sony Computer Entertainment v. Bleem!, Inc
Sony Computer Entertainment v. Connectix, Inc.

>Betas are a problem
betas have always and will always exist

difference is that back then we had a functional society based around monogamy, which enforced a 1 to 1 matching between men and women, so these betas had a life where they had a family and a future, which in turn ensured that they would stay productive and contribute to society themselves.

nowadays on the other hand, those betas are shunned and left alone by society, with no hope for a family or a future. over time, more and more of them will cease being productive and drop out of society, either becoming a leeching NEET or some kind of criminal.

>One day Nintendo will do something about this.
Just like they did for all other nintendo console emulators out there, right?

Exactly, it isn't. If emulators were illegal, then VC, Nes Mini go out of the window as well. Same with PS1 emulation on the PS3. Same with Xbox 360 emulation for the Xbone.

Not only that, but a lot of non-game specific development tools would be illegal. Android Emulator, iOS emulator.
How about VirtualBox and other VM software?

If Nintendo tries to do anything, they'll make an enemy out of every big name software company out there. You think they stand a chance against fucking google?
