retard here, what's the difference between a clip and a magazine
One is a short video and you read the other
...
Basically the thing in the picture is called a clip until you put it in the gun, then it's called a magazine
Ocelot calls a magazine a clip in MGS3
but boomstick is a groovy name.
>AKS-74U
>listed as an SMG
>mini Uzi
>don't use the sights correctly
>barrett M82
>listed as a sniper rifle
CoD4 was pretty retarded
they're the same thing unless you're an autist
I don't get it
what do we call this then
You use a clip to feed a magazine
You use a magazine to feed the gun
Clips are rounds held together by just a stick of metal, clips aren't really used anymore, they were pretty much only used for early rifles like the Mosin Nagant, Lee-Enfield SMLE, Springfield 1903, and Cei-Rigotti.
Magazines are actually boxes that house the rounds. Pretty much every firearm now uses magazines.
forgot pic
What is the difference between a duck?
A belt.
A clip is literraly what it says. It clips rounds together so you can easily reload a magazine.
Clipazine
You could say belt but you could also say strip. Very few guns ever used strips.
assault clip
>AK-47
>its actually an AKMS
thanks
that's a clip because you see the bullets
>clips aren't really used anymore

>"Glock"
I meant as loading into the gun itself. Most guns now don't use internal magazines except bolt-actions and more of those are using box magazines now.
...
That is pretty dumb, it's just a lighter and not an actual Glock.

You ruined it
>glock 18
>its obviously a 19
The M82 is a sniper rifle though and the 74U is a PDW.
>Ruining the joke
>jump scout
The M82 is an anti-material rifle that is not and was never designed or used as a sniper rifle.
The 74U is an assault rifle carbine. It shoots a rifle round.

>The Barrett M82, standardized by the US Military as the M107, is a recoil-operated, semi-automatic sniper rifle developed by the American Barrett Firearms Manufacturing company. It is used by many units and armies around the world. Despite its designation as an anti-materiel rifle, it is used by some armed forces as an anti-personnel sniper rifle.

Magazine = box with a follower(spring). Outside of few exceptions it also has feed lips
Clip = just some sheet metal meant to hold ammo in position allowing for easy and fast reload of the actual magazine(be it fixed or not).
Wrong.

why do nazis keep saying this?
