God have mercy on their souls.
Spore 2 was NMS, this can be 3 though
Humans did not come from monkeys
then prove it and publish a scientific paper for peer review
I like Dawkins so I'm inclined to believe he's doing this with good intentions, but it looks like he's being duped by this guy like avgn was with that cheataman thing. But really, how can he not take one look at this and see how shitty it is and walk away? I guess he's a pretty old guy that isn't familiar with video games or Kickstarter, but this is really trying my respect for the guy.
The only proof we need is the Bible.
>Richard Fivehead
Show me a monkey mid-evolution
i dont have any pictures of you though
My favorite quote from Dawkins is that when you're contributing to science you have to constantly remind yourself that a higher power does not exist.
I'm sure Reddit will fund this game in it's entirety.
Oh boy, I can see it already.. ID people will cite this game as an example of ID because the game had to be programmed.
>(((scientific)))
A kickstarter game will never be Spore 2, because what happened to Spore was executive meddling.
Kickstarter means no publisher telling you what to cut from your game to make it less complicated for children.
EPIC BURN XD
Hahaha I could definitely see that happening
correct, we came from our hominid ancestors
or god, i'm not really sure desu
>mid-evolution
There's no static points, period.
this game looks like shit but evolution is a great game design mechanic.
youtube.com
>evolutionary theorists say we evolve from monkeys
>provide no photographic or video evidence of a monkey turning into a human
??
All I know is that I will be citing this game as an example of kickstarter scams.
Instead it will be the "promise loads of shit, don't put 90% of it into the game because it was too hard" like most kickstarters, same thing at the end of the day for the consumer.
Everything is mid-evolution, retard.
Do you think the theory of evolution predicts a creature which is human from the waist up and monkey from the waist down?
Why do so many people who believe in evolution also believe race doesn't exist?
This. On the kickstarter page they say they plan to have this put out in a year. This game will be basic as shit.
depends on how you define race
biologically that becomes pretty tricky because it tends to be retroactively fitting cultural races onto genetic ones
voice acting isn't necessarily a bad thing, look at something like professor layton or whatever that worked perfectly well on a nintendo console, even in english
or hell, even other m, while the writing was awful, the voice acting was decent
it's just horrible casting
>Everything is mid-evolution, retard.
But you're wrong, because evolution is a lie
>b-but Sagan said
Sagan said a lot of shit, Tyson says a lot of shit. Just because people tip their fedora and agree doesn't make it true.
The only meaningful discintion that defines species under evolution is the ability to have fertile offspring.
Melanin content is no different than height or hair color.
>backer rewards include subscription time
They can't seriously be putting an MMO sub system in the game right?
what, like humans?
>"Our spines are a mess. It’s a wonder we can even walk," says Bruce Latimer, director of the Center for Human Origins at Case Western Reserve University, in Cleveland. "When our ancestors walked on all fours, their spines arched, like a bow, to withstand the weight of the organs suspended below. But then we stood up. That threw the system out of whack by 90 degrees, and the spine was forced to become a column. Next, to allow for bipedalism, it curved forward at the lower back. And to keep the head in balance—so that we didn’t all walk around as if doing the limbo—the upper spine curved in the opposite direction. This change put tremendous pressure on the lower vertebrae, sticking about 80 percent of adults, according to one estimate, with lower back pain."
this is also why slavs are the master race: squatting is actually one of the best resting positions
Meant for
Exquisite!
...
Melanin is not the only difference between races, friendo.
I how it turns out to be an even bigger piece of shit than it looks, so I can laugh doubly hard at kickstarter backers and cult of personality redditors
Semantics, bro-friend.
shutupshutupshutup, it's a racist coincidence that blacks are more prone to sickle-cell anemia and have muscles built in a way that allows for faster, short-duration running.
also, shit like how our eyes are arranged with the nerves in front of the photoreceptors, laryngeal nerves going all the way around instead of taking the short route, wisdom teeth, periods, breathing and eating through the same fucking orifice, position of uterus
there's a fuckton of shit that's "mid-evolution" i.e. evolved in an awkward way because of different optimal strategies at different times
define blacks, i dare you
you even mentioned two different groups in that post alone (west and east africans)
If only we could breathe from our butts.
blacks = subsaharan africans not including the horn of africa
Also he didn't mention 2 groups, west africans are the famous sprinters and the ones with sickle cell and east africans are the famous distance runners
...
What about all those separate species that can have viable offspring such as wolf-jackal hybrids, mules with donkeys as the father and king and corn snake hybrids?
so you noticed it's multiple groups anyway? great point, well made
genetically this shit is impossible to figure out so all you're doing is giving cultural groups genetic identifiers retroactively, but good luck comparing a khoi to a mali or ethiopian or whatever
They are mid-speciation. Hence me using the term "fertile offspring."
Their existence is evidence that all life on Earth has a common ancestor.
>evolution
>natural selection
Responded to the wrong thread I take it?
we can classify spider populations separated on opposite ends of an island for a few generations as genetically distinct. don't even give me that
>so you noticed it's multiple groups anyway? great point, well made
Yeah it's almost like populations that spend hundreds to thousands of years in relative isolation on the opposite end of a continent don't end up exactly the same
