How were normal people supposed to open these doors...

how were normal people supposed to open these doors? does everyone in the Metroid universe carry a sidearm with them at all times for the express purpose of shooting their way into buildings?

they probably have a badge that the door detected when you were close and opened.

Supposedly they all were made to keep the local fauna out, so maybe

but then why didn't Samus have the codes

Door locks are always one of the most nonsensical things in games.

>Enemy breaches your secure facility
>Lock down the rooms and deploy security forces to engage the intruder
>Doors unlock when your security force is defeated

If anything, you'd think they'd double down on locking shit up at that point.

half of the time it's "contaminant/infected purged, releasing lockdown"

That doesn't make sense in areas like three federation ships you board that also use the same type of doors, since apparently all the doors in the universe are based off Chozo designs.

>There are people who don't carry a firearm with them at all times.
Fuckin' commies and liberals I swear

>have relics from an ancient alien space magic bird race lying around everywhere
>not stealing that shit
it's like you don't want to conquer your neighbors

They're doors.

BECAUSE VIDEOGAMES

I'm more curious how samus can use all this shit.

What part of "space bird magic" did you not get?

well, I guess the bird part.

Prime with the Wii's controls made me jizz my pants
It's too bad there weren't many solid FPS titles on the Wii. I thought there was potential in the controls

You see, Samus is 25% bird.

look buddy when ancient aliens hand you magic miracle tech for free, you fucking use it even if it's a water filter for your fishtank, got it?

wasn't that retconned from a manga later? doesn't seem like she knows the chozo in the earlier games. and didn't they die out long before anyway?

it would have been fucking badass to see arcade games like Lets Go Jungle and Time Crisis get ported to the wii

so this means she has featherpubes right?

Why would the space pirates design their own doors when there's a perfectly fine door design right there? I mean the Chozo were hot shit back in their day, maybe it was because of the doors. You never know.

The Prime games make a point of describing the Power Suit as highly modular. Most of the time she's picking up Chozo tech anyway which would be compatible by default.
Those other times when she's picking up alien tech the Suit can adapt to incorporate the technology into itself. It's basically a magic hand wave. There have only been very few instances where tech Samus has picked up couldn't be assimilated by the Power Suit, and even then it was made compatible shortly afterward.

The doors are barricaded by energy fields. Her gun neutralizes it, but that's not the intended use.

The idea of Samus being raised by the Chozo and being infused with their blood/dna came from the Super Metroid Nintendo Power Comic. It was adopted into the games later along with the K2-L raid.

>manga

>kill all soldiers in the room
>security system clears
>unlocks all doors in the room

kinda backwards

Why did you say commies twice?

she has what?

exactly what I said

>he hasn't seen the pasta

post it

do yuros not shoot their doors open?

Only Americans shoot their doors open.
Obviously this means that Metroid universe shows a future where America dominates.
