The point isn't that zelda has fun physics stuff going on, lots of games have that, it's that it has this in addition to just being a good game.

Many games with in depth physics, that's what the game is all about, in zelda it's like a fun side thing in addition to an already solid game.

You can stasis the raft in mid-air and reapply balloons. I don't think it lasts long enough for you to fly around anywhere, but I've used it a couple of times to scale cliffs in the rain.

I'm pretty sure that if you jumped on a log/platform and that platform would suddenly speed to 200km/h,
it would just sweep from underneath you dropping you off

No goal post move, Half life is actually something I thought of while playing Zelda since they both have such fun physics.

That's a fair statement but even if Valve did it first it's still fun as fuck in Zelda and I'm not aware of any other open world games with it though I must admit I haven't played the just cause games but seeing webms and shit it seems like they might have something similar going on.

My main experience with open world has been bethesda games and I really feel Zelda shits all over them and not just cause of the physics it's just a way better game in every way.

Not physics but game could have used rng currupted shrines, so when you get it an animation display of a piece of CG flies and strikes the shrine, filling it with malice and enemies (that are not outside like redead or wall masters) and you must cleanse the place beffore proceed to the puzzle
