This is the game that deserves an honest series entry. And we'll never get it. SBK DS was proof that there is no just and loving god in this universe, only a deity that enjoys suffering.

This is probably one of those games I could go back to whenever and just have fun, be it with people or just insane difficulty CPU. Unlocking some of those extra boards was just hair thin chances of winning.

The track itself is pretty mesmerizing too. I just really like the idea of snowboarding on an abandoned icy downhill highway at night. The shortcut is pretty intense as well. All the tracks in the first game were rock solid.

What would you anons want to see in a TRUE successor to SBK 1+2?

Any new ideas that would freshen up the series? A hard reboot please god no of the whole thing? How would you sell it as different from other such racing/battle games today?

Same here. He was my boy with Linda on the Side. Don't know why but i could not get into Slash and Nancy.

It's visuals and gameplay would have to be as fun as the first SSX Tricky and Mario Kart. That kind of title could only see a revival on something like The Switch but still, I'd love to see it.

My brother was a total fag about Linda so I couldn't into her. Which was cool because that left Slash and Wendy. Nancy was too trick-focused. In the first game didn't she have the floatiest jump? Shit sucked if you really wanted to win.

I think just having it as an arcadey racer but with snowboards is enough.

It's only real competition is Mario Kart. And unless Mario Kart 9 introduces snowboards I think a true SBK3 would stand out enough.
