Another World

Pretty much any good 2d plat former, primarily from the SNES. But I guess that's a bit of a cheat answer.

it seems like with games focusing on current technology I feel like we won't have many games that we would want to pick up in 15 years from now.

Classic X-COM.

Forever will be a timeless classic.

Skyrim

tetris

Metroid Prime. It's from 2002 and still looks better than a lot of modern Nintendo games.

Hold up, I'm going to ruin this thread by mentioning a game that has actually aged fine but people whose first game was from the seventh generation think has aged terribly.

Team Fortress 2, it's been 10 fucking years, and it isn't dead by any non-retarded metric. Held its own to overwatch, has an active community with modding, economy, SFM, and more, competitive and matchmaking that are actually more fair and balanced than most modern fps's, and the list goes on. Valve may be a scumbag company, but they know how to build communities and games, so long as there's money in it for themselves.

I would actually classify a game that has aged finely as one that can appeal to all players from all generations after. Examples I can think of are tetris and super mario world. Tetris with its countless ports and smw with its constantly made hacks and with how much more often it's used in mario maker.

The classic, better than the rest.

What is your favorite kind of wine, Sup Forums?

Every Super Mario game, the controls and movement are always tight and precise.

Roller Coaster Tycoon.

>"aged" well

Can this meme die already?

vodka

>to all players
So nothing?

As soon as the meme meme dies.

super mario world
aLttP

timeless imo

Shiraz = Cab Sauv > Champagne/Sparkling > Sangiovese > Zinfandel > Sauv Blanc = Pinot Grigio > Riesling > Merlot > Pinot Noir >>>>>>>> Red Blends >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> White Blends

Half of DX has aged fine, like the level design, OST, and plot. The gameplay (namely the RPG elements/AI) and the graphics/VA has aged horribly.

>tfw too pleb for wine

This is a video game board you fucking faggot. kys.

this tbqh
i hate wine almost as much as i hate beer
rums, vodkas, and whiskeys are all great tho

Streets of Rage 2
Twisted Metal 2

Even if it is an easy answer, it's still the truth.

I guess I'll go ahead and do a harder one. I'm going to go out on a limb and say Xenoblade. At least from a visual standpoint, managed to not only look impressive for a Wii game, but for a game period. The fact that it could also be so big at the same time made it even more a monumental feat.

>Twisted Metal 2 came out 21 years ago
Hold me.
