Best weapons are the Wizzrobe wands and you can't prove me wrong.
favorite weapon is the lightning sword you can get off the first stalnox
when it rains i become god
>Parry guardian laser back
>Proceed to cut off all of its limbs
The details in the monster animations are so cute
The bokoblins twitching their noses and licking their lips while aiming at you are adorable
Cant' wait 10 years for the next 3D zelda game senpai
Boomerang master race
She let Mipha die.
Why didn't she just fuck up Ganon after unlocking the whole Triforce in that memory?
Elemental weapons are best yes, but not the wands. I really like the flame sword and lightning ones.
i like the outfits :3
favorite weapon is the master sword. it feels so nice to use against the divine beast bosses
>tfw you'll never have a red fish girl as your fiancée
Why live?
I'm partial to claymores, but the lightning sword is pretty cool.
The knoweldge of the triforce is lost. Zelda only knows it as the sealing power, no one knows what it does
>use boomerang
>fucked lizard catches it out of the air
Holy crap, Link is CUTE with that outfit.
1.Easily better than any game that game that came out last year.
2. Royal greatsword looks great in screenshots.
3. I demand more cute Link and Zelda interactions. And Link to have at least a few spoken lines of dialogue.
Thank god it's such a step up from SS's bokos. I know they were going for an oni look but it just didn't work. Apparently all the enemy designs in that game were based on it too. And they added the horns and teeth later because it looked too much like a baby instead of just scrapping the design.
Enjoying it like I'm a 12 year old again.
Giant boomerangs are awesome to use.
More/larger dungeons, more mini games, more towns, fewer simple fetch quests, streamline the cooking system, larger variety of enemies (seriously, no sky enemies except for keese?), more memories.
9.8/10 game.
Watching various streams do vah ruto mission on youtube showed me how much effort nintendo put into letting people do their own playstyles so that not only could you be free to intentionally do some approach, but you also could get by being a retard who doesn't figure it out.
You get assaulted by giant glowing ice blocks. They very clearly have identical visual design to your cryosis rune ice blocks. The intent is you destroy them with crysosis. But some players might not have realized you can destroy your own ice blocks, or they might just be retards who can't figure out the common visual hint.
So you can knock them out of the air with your arrows, which some streamers did
But some are even bigger retards and knocked them out of the air with well timed sword slashes- and it works.
1990's nintendo:
>Theres one way to solve the puzzle
>If you can't figure it out, you git gud, the game is merciless and teaches you to learn or give up.
2000-2010's nintendo:
>Theres one way to solve the puzzle
>The camera zooms in and shows you every puzzle element and rubs it in your face, then a sidekick pops up and chimes in telling you theres a 92% certainty you need to do this thing to solve the puzzle, then if you get stuck for 2 minutes, a tanooki suit falls from the sky and makes you invulnerable
2017 nintendo:
>There are 20 ways to solve the puzzle
>go ahead be smart be retards we don't care we've thought of everything
Does it retain its charge inside the dungeons?
>dad walks in
This is honestly the first time bokoblins have looked good
>Gerudo top
>Barbarian shorts
I'm now gay for traps.
...
For anyone interested, this guy is uploading the cutscenes in Japanese with the Eng subs
youtube.com
No, it can run out. Lost it while fighting Thunderblight.
blizzard rod is way overpowered compared to the other two. The only downside is that its just as overpowered in the hands of the wizzrobes, so you NEED to snipe them with fire arrows or they'll fuck your shit up, because the aoe is so gigantic its hard to dodge.
easiest combo in the game is to simply blizzard rod a pack, then start spin to win with a 2 hander.
I've scummed out a large majority of the game by swapping between ice/blizzard wands and then charging up a 2H weapon.
wow nintendo really went full fag mode this time around. thats really out of place.
Beat it, at 34%. Love it, but it's not without some faults. Royal Guard Spear. Item stealing to come back.
They looked good in WW. And TP was alright just ruined by low res and low poly.
I actually really like how the story is played out and presented. Really drives the amnesia theme home
The whole barbarian set is ancient Gerudo anyhow.
It does in hyrule castle
Has yet to upload frog or stop following me.
>1 divine beast done
>67 shrines finished
I don't want this fucking game to end guys
I love it. I hope they double down on this philosophy so that we can completely abolish shit like those motion controlled golf puzzles.
>The intent is you destroy them with crysosis.
Shit, I keep forgetting thats a power. I just shot them down with arrows and spear thrusts
God damnit, her hair fins (?) are clipping EVERYTHING.
i actually stayed up late just so i could keep playing a videogame
i cant remember the last time a game was this fun
>LA-H-AAAAA-USA
what could it mean?
>reach the coliseum in central Hyrule
>clear out all the monsters
>defeat the Lynel after breaking 4 weapons
>guy standing outside gives me a silver rupee
>bloodmoon happens
Can I get another rupee if I clear it again or is it a one time thing?
>Start climbing a mountain
>Rain starts
din dins napkin shrine is best shrine
bring it spirit tendies
Did anyone else climb up to the top of the Sanctum before actually entering the final boss battle? There's this gross mass of Malice and guardian tentacles on the floor above, which is presumably Ganon. I was hoping it would do something by going there, but no dice.
Why is Ganon part cyborg now anyway? Were the Sheikah torturing and experimenting on him or something?
the whole point of the area is to give you strong monsters to fight each blood moon all in one place
thanks, glad you guys like it!
I used to find rain annoying, then people in these threads told me that I'm casual scum and anything that's inconvenient and boring is part of the game and I should suck it up and stop complaining so now I welcome the rain!
>go ahead be smart be retards we don't care we've thought of everything
It does scale nicely. You can take on whatever you feel ready for, and bulk up if you feel that it will help you.
I think I'm cursed
EVERY time I'm trying to climb somewhere important, it starts raining
>MFW I just met Kilton
he thought the technology was cool and he wanted it
probably with his own magic/tech that possessed the guardians and sacred beasts
Yeah but can you keep farming silver rupees from the guy standing outside after every bloodmoon? His dialogue resets
Blizzard Wand charge attacks have easily got to be one of the best things in the game for dealing with mobs. Combine that with multi-arrow bows with bomb arrows and you have a stupid powerful combinations.
That's how I got through the Yiga central room
>testing to see if the Master Sword beams deplete it's energy (they do)
>cutting grass
>Hylian rice pops up
Huh. Neat.
How are you supposed to fight Igneo Talus without just stunlocking him with ice weapons? Even fighting him with arrows seems impossible since the aoe on his punches is absurd.
Today is the first day since I got the game that I didn't play it at all. I've done two Divine Beasts, 65 Shrines, and I've uncovered the entire map. That sense of wonder seems to have left me with this game and I don't know if I want to keep going. I feel like I've discovered all the cool shit there is to discover.
if you take a picture of him for hyrule compendium, it says he was in a cocoon trying to regenerate a corporeal body, but was forced to exit early in an unfinished state. Apparently he was trying to build a cyborg body but got interrupted and went with the abomination
>How are you enjoying the game?
It took me many hours to actually start enjoying it. Kind of hard to explain but in the beginning, I guess I was just overwhelmed by all the stuff you needed to do. And surprised at how much damage enemies were doing to me (when I only had 4 hearts). Once I got into the swing of things and learned how to gain more hearts/defense, I started to love it. And once I started exploring the cold mountains, I finally figured out why this game was suppose to be so good.
>What is your favourite weapon?
So far the Firebrand. Because it does everything a torch can do simply having it equipped. Running around the mountains melting ice caps with a sword is so satisfying somehow.
>What improvements do you want to see in the sequel?
Keep the area of Hyrule and everything else already established in the game. Let them be explorable. Link goes around and clears out all the remnants of Ganon's minions and maybe finds a temple or two. Then after he's done that, the rest of the continent west of Hebra opens up. And you find a whole new land just as big as this game has. Modeled off of the land in Zelda 2 and Minish Cap. Complete with temple dungeons and a whole new set of towns.
While this game might very well be the GOAT, is anyone worried about the re-playability? It's such a large game after.
I'm sure most of us will do a hero mode play through however.
Finally, FINALLY the baton has been handed off.
Well there's story dlc coming at the end of the year but yeah I have the same concern
That's the thing, I'm not sure if I'd really want to do all of those shrines again.
If anything, I anticipate I will enjoy it more the second time I play it. Since I won't be so worried about hoarding all the weapons and worried about where to upgrade stuff. I'll already know how to do all that, leaving me to focus on exploration and combat.
The only thing that probably will be stale in the replay is the shrines. And the story, but it's honestly boring in the first playthrough.
I rushed story and beat it. When Hero mode drops I'll do a legit play-through and look for items and shrines and the 9 million seeds.
Can't imagine doing two legit playthrough of this in the same year.
>for an oni look
>not using the extra slipperiness for shield surfing
Silver lining in everything.
Where do you find the:
>Barbarian set
>Climbing gear bandanna
Also, does the Luminous gear I got from the Gerudo club do anything or is it just a gag?
If you have a 2+ star Snowquill set, you're unfreezable. Being hit by any freezing moves does nothing to you, like white Chuchus exploding after you kill them. You're basically invincible against ice Wizzrobes. I assume the same is true with the 2+ star Flamebreaker and Rubber sets for fire and electricity respectively.
I don't plan on replaying it until I buy a switch, which will probably be around December. There's just too much stuff to do. I got this game 8 days ago and I still haven't gone to the first dungeon.
I CAN'T STOP CRYING LIKE A LITTLE BITCH. I AM ON A BREAK DOWN AND THIS NEVER HAPPENED
>cook like a bitch
>beat 4th beast
>hah, time to go to bed
>but I really just wanna see the castle
>have no arrows
>whatever, still just wanna see castle before bed
>get there
>urge to progress explodes
>keep climbing
>everything is shooting at me
>keep eating, keep running
>there were times where I threw my cool sword I've collected at lazers seconds before they could get me. Abandon weapons and keep running
>keep running
>fight lynnel
>lost more food and weapoins
>fighting ganon
>I never learned how to use the special moves Link's friends gave him until this point
>flying all over the place, shooting electricity shocks that make ganon fall
>his health keeps falling
>naa, I can't do this. No way. I hardly have no health
>keep fighting
>people on Sup Forums said this sword would break. It's all I have...bet I have to do this all over
>keep going
>no food left
>keep flying all over
>suddenly last shock
>he falls
>I am sprinting toward him
>no stamina left
>last few steps walk up to him
>WACK HIM AND I FUCKING START BAWLING
HOW DID THIS GAME MAKE ME SUCH A BITCH
HOW
HOW THE FUCK AM I TYPING THIS 3:35 AM WITH SUCH EMOTIONS. I GUESS I DID WHAT I FELT WAS IMPOSSIBLE. I DOUBTED MYSELF IN THE VERY END AND WENT IN WEAK AND I CAME OUT STRONG. MUH FEELS, GOD DAMN IT I AM ALMOST 24 HOW DID THIS HAPPEN TO MY SOUL.
The hype will definitely die down in a month or so.
Right in time for Arms and MK8D to help the Switch out.
I can't imagine wanting to play it more than twice. Shrines are pretty fucking tedious. So is the beginning of the game in general.
>shitty weapons everywhere
>get one-shot by almost everything
Games like this I usually play once every several years, anyway. I'll definitely check out the DLC, but after I reach my goals in game I'm just kind of... done. I don't mind since I haven't been this excited about a game in 20 years.
Please stop blogging like a huge faggot.
B-but
Good, now Zelda 2 is the next one. But i don't think ninty will ever top that
>found a big ass horse similar to Ganondorf's
>it's shit
This guy is needed for a quest right? Where do I find it?
>words
>blog post
kys faggot
i'm glad you believed in yourself
>Don't own a switch or wii u
>Go to Twitch to see gameplay vids and fall asleep watching zelda
>All videos have muted gameplay sounds, with the player/streamer acting like a ginormous fucking faggot, each and every time, as they yell, play pretend, and beg for money
How can kids watch this shit? Just how? I don't get this at all. You know what I see when a person is acting like a huge attention whoring faggot? An attention whoring faggot. I wanted to fall asleep, peacefully and am instead falling asleep completely enraged.
What the fuck is wrong with you kids? Why did you kids make this into a thing?
Just What The Fuck.
I'm thinking it'll be one of those games yo finish and then don't touch for a year two. Then when you go back and play you have an idea of how everything works and a general memory of the world (Oh, I remember that landmark!) but everything feels slightly new.
Man the fuck up you pussy.
It's not shit, it's amazing. You can run down enemies with it.
WW isn't fun to play
>it's shit
It's a war horse, not a travelling horse
you literally find the quest on the way back to the stable near where you find him
Why are you complaining about this here? No one here is streaming the game or watching people stream the game.
>I'm sure most of us will do a hero mode play through however.
There is no way in hell in replaying this game because of a DLC hard mode. I don't replay games as it is and this game has even less replayability than most games. The whole thing about this game that makes it great is discovering things for the first time so what's the fucking point of replaying it when you already know where everything is?

All weapons are good for fashion
It's on the only path you can take if you want to get that horse out of there.
>posted OOT Link
>not Zelda I Link
>it's shit
The thing is a fucking battering ram and it has infinite stamina.
>Quest
Not as far as I know, but it's a nice thing to have anyway.
>Where do I find it?
At the bottom of a ravine just south of the tutorial area. As far as possible from any stables.
Same here. I'm usually too focused on the story on my first play through of open world games, even if the story is shallow and boring. I didn't bother exploring Skyrim or New Vegas my first time through, but they both vastly improved when I realized I didn't care much about the story and just started fucking off.
I assume you'd wear the 2+ star Flamebreaker set for complete fire immunity. I fought a Frost Talus the other day and didn't realize until after I beat it that climbing it is normally impossible and that you have to thaw it with fire. I was wearing a 2 star Snowquill set though so I just fought it like any Talus.
Zelda 2 should have gotten a remake a long time ago. But it has to be kept a 2d Action/Platformer. Just in an updated engine and fixing the flaws of the NES original.
But Nintendo won't do it. We're lucky they even made Link Between Worlds. They are ignoring 2D Zelda so bad.
meant to reply to
Ocarina who?
I didn't know there was a Lynel at the castle. Where is it?
Wind Waker is the worst 3d zelda desu senpai
>No one here is streaming the game or watching people stream the game.
I'm just mad cause your generation made this possible.
close to zelda's room. Careful. They lock you in with it.
Worst is a toss up between MM and SS
at the archer's camp? I skipped past them since I wanted to register the horse?
It's the second best desu senpai.
