After dropping what they felt like enough info to move this thing along, they continued to sit back and poke in here or there, notifying us whether we're on the right path or not.
What we know: >The Wallpapers Rockstar has released are keys to cluing us in on what to do or look for - pic related.
How do they connect? What do they mean? (From left to right and then down) Greek Gods - clues to the days of the week, as well as the tides >Ares - Mars - Tuesday - Big sun / eye object behind him - could be a calander object >Aphrodite - descended from Uranus - Friday - wreathe object - unsure what this is >Neptune - master of the tides - tides were hinted at being important - perhaps waiting for a high tide in Grapeseed could be important Eye in the Sky >first eye is seen peering down between the gas tanks in the industrial area - holding up 3 fingers - 3am >second eye seen eyeing what could be the prize - city seen in the background with mt chiliad between the FIB and IAA buildings - object is out at sea - what we need to see is out across the sea >third eye is seen looking at the "prize" - same steps as in first image between the gas tankers - 7 lightning bolts - 7th day of the week? 7th moon phase?(waxing crescent), thunderstorm? Astral series >first image seems to be some astral calander - could be signifying what phase of the moons we need to see something? >second image is an early phase moon and an eclipsed sun - Leakanon said a meteor is important in keying us in - perhaps it coincides with these charts and phases?
Tree Series >first tree has an egg in it's top branch - behind a clear starry sky >second tree has an egg on branch down - daytime - misty or foggy sky? >final tree has an egg one branch lower - night - stars no longer visible >this could be a clue to the last glyph nobody has found yet - said to be in Grapeseed by Leakanon >glyph with the UFO and the mountains under it fits in with the squiggly water path just east of town
Moon Phases are important as they effect the tides - which are also important: >first -- the first visible crecent, >seventh -- the waxing half moon, >fourteenth -- the full moon, >nineteenth -- dedicated to an offended goddess, >twenty-first -- the waning half moon, >twenty-eigth -- the last visible crecent, >twenty-nineth -- the invisible moon, and >thirtieth (possibly) -- the invisible moon. There's no way to tell what month or day we're in in-game, so the moon is the only way to tell. >Using a trainer does not fast forward the days or moon phases - I've tried - the day and moon stays the same, with just the sun and moon being cycled unchanged. >Director mode was said to be a useful tool.

Blueprint map was also hinted at having huge clues to the mystery.

Grapeseed is one of the triggers we've yet to uncover for the mystery event to progress. The only glyph nobody has solved or uncovered.

My theory is also that the Eye out at sea, and the white line between the buildings is the finish line, but we've yet to discover enough of the triggers leading up to it to activate what may appear out there.

I was disappointed that the alien angle didn't go anywhere. Considering the references in the game, I was expecting some sort of mystery that led to an alien invasion or some such shit. Would have been funny to see the characters dealing with that. I feel like GTA5 ran out of steam at the 75% mark.

And to counter your shitty argument, the GTAO and single player teams certainly share programmers, plus he could be a designer that worked on single player a few years ago. Even if neither of these are correct, he can still get in contact with those that worked on single player. And additionally, he certainly has access to the game's code.
