Because they are actually good? Plenty of other adventure series had as much success as Zelda. The reason the IP dies off is usually because of developer laziness or lack of funding since they blew their millions from their first success on hookers and blow.

Idort who's played both games here, Zelda is better. Horizon can be fun but zelda gives you plenty of things to toy around with and have fun, and way better cities and characters.
Plus it doesn't try to push the stronk woman meme hard down your throat like horizon does.
Now don't get me wrong, horizon is a fun game, solid 7/10
