Does anyone else have this issue? After getting a 144hz monitor 60 FPS feels so sluggish and 30 FPS is practically a slide show.

It's because pulldown is at a bad ratio, downclock the monitor to 120hz on locked shit like that and it'll look better

Got myself a 144hz monitor, but I locked it at 60 because I get barfy playing for a while.

If you really grew up with computers you would have had a CRT which was at least 90hz.

If you don't already know what games will be improved with higher refresh rate then you shouldn't even remotely consider it.

Yes actually it means everything. The main reason you perceive 60Hz so much after being at 144Hz is because without freesync or gsync, the monitor is no longer refreshing at a set rate and you are seeing duplicated frames every few frames by the monitor.

I appreciate your sarcasm, but when it comes to dp cables, quality does matter. It's not even the price, just getting cables from the right manufacturers. Cheap dp cables can short out your gpu.
