I don't fucking understand why would anyone buy a recently release council, it has no games and it comes with a shitload of problems with any electronic that is recently release.

I don't even know at this point if those numbers are good or not, Sup Forums gives me different information every time. Anyways, the launch numbers of a console usually don't mean anything at all.

No. They always said they would ship 2m before the end of March. Nobody knew how many of that was allocated to preorders. They sold out of the preorders, and sold out of the launch day allotment, and are just now delivering the 2nd batch. Probably one more shipment after this before the end of March (which is the end of their fiscal year).

It's a great open world game but I'll list some flaws.

>horses are literally useless
You have to retrieve them from stables instead of being able to whistle for them like in previous games. And in a game where you climb mountains non-stop, they just stop being relevant.

Seriously. Even on the Switch. You can tell this is Nintendo's first try at a big open game.

I've got a ps4 pro and I pre-ordered and bought the Switch too. They both go hand in hand, going to be tonnes of 'weeb' games that the PC crowd hates so much

Wii was 600000 in the Americas in its first week, 370000 in Japan and 350000 in Europe, so that's over 1.2M worldwide
Considering how rampant Scalping is, 1.5M doesn't seem all that impressive in comparison

No one is expecting this to sell less than 13 million when that many people bought a Wii U. That doesn't mean it'll be successful enough for Nintendo to stay in the hardware business

Beating the Wii U is an incredibly low bar which it has yet to pass.

Even the Wii U was supply constrained

These numbers are not indicative of demand, they are indicative of supply. If 500k units sold that means 500k were available to buy

It won't be until supply starts exceeding demand where we see how much demand for the system there actually is, and Nintendo probably doesn't want us to know or see that so they'll keep supply very low for months to make sure the system stays sold out
