post the last game you played and whether you liked it or not
the saboteur for me and i liked it

Horizon: Zero Dawn

Literally bored out of my mind after the proving... I wish this open world trend would die already

Gonner. fun stuff. like making things go splat

> hur durr open world
faggot, open world is here to stay

Destiny - I love it and I have never imagined that I will love it this much.

BotW, played it on a friend's WiiU. My expectations were pretty low because of the whole "old franchise going open world" thing i'm still so fucking mad about MGSV but it was actually a lot better than I thought.

I thought the weapon durability would be annoying but I was fucking tripping over weapons so it wasn't an issue, it was actually a bit fun how the extra damage from throwing and breaking combined turned the weapon into a tactical nuke. What I didn't expect to be so tedious was the climbing. Why the fuck would you actively punish the player for trying to climb fast?

Just Cause 3

Pretty fun

Arcane Dimensions mod for the original Quake

It's really fucking good, I almost forgot how actual level design looks like

Mario Kart Double Dash

Was dicking around with netplay.

Dying light: the following.
Almost dropped the game during the first campaign due to the bs durability and constantly getting caught flat footed.
Hung tough and the game is great once your powerful enough.
My only gripe is the NPCS for most side quests are douche bags and sketchy at best. Constantly asking my self why Crane after doing so much for so
Many people still puts up with their crap. When he's the baddest mofo around.

Please stop with the open world hate meme. I'm not even saying horizon is a good game but there have been good open world games. If you wanna be told what to do every second of your life like a child, play something else

Battlefield 1 because I broke my hand and just got the cast off after months so I haven't bought any new games.

This shit is making me hyper REEEEEEEEE at DLC, I fucking hate it.

Or maybe he's just missing actual level design

Hollow Knight
It's fun

you have to time things. find ledges to rest for a bit and when you're about to run out of stamina, jump. It'll launch you extra far. You can upgrade the stamina anyway to the point where climbing mountains doesnt even faze you

Are the french and russians finally in?

Battlefield 1.

It's awful and gets even more awful with every new patch, at least i didn't buy it.

Then he can play something else. Playing open world games and complaining about not being directed is like going into a gaybar and complaining some dude smacked your ass

Yes to the former, no to the latter.

oui
нeт

SFV

got like 400 hours on it but to say I like it is a stretch

Pathologic: Marble Nest
It crashed right after some boy woke me up, which was like 5 minutes into the game

>trend

That's the real problem. Games being open world for the sake of it. Too many devs just fill it with lazy collectibles and copypasta

>20 MP18 Optical headshots
Someone better have gotten fired for this.

I was an idiot and bought it digital because GS didn't have physicals left.

Now I hate myself because I don't want their faggot season pass full of shitty boring content, but I'm stuck with the game.

Yakuza 5

It's probably my favorite aside from 0 - sure the frame rate can get a little choppy during the big fights with a bunch of dudes but hunting is awesome. Still mad that I didn't get to do one final playable concert in Tokyo, fuck off Sega

MFW I didn't realize that I could dodge baseballs

Shadow of Mordor

It's not a good game. The bamham combat, mediocre powers, ubisoft towers, empty world, lacklustre quests, uninteresting story, characters and lore rape,... The Nemesis system is the only thing this game has going for itself. Hope it's transplanted into a better game.

I do agree that open world games done wrong are terrible but open world games done right are amazing and incredibly immersive. A bad OW game is cheaply made and involves lots of reused missions, etc. A good open world game takes an immense amount of effort and includes tons of little Easter eggs and things people will still be finding months after release.Unfortunately shoehorning open world themes into games that weren't made for them won't stop anytime soon. AAA companies can cheap out on bad open world games and normies won't give a fuck. They'll buy them anyway

I'm aware of how to successfully climb shit and the upgrades that can help, it's just fucking infuriating that jumping somewhere will make me run out of stamina so damn quickly while doing it the slow way will leave me with plenty to spare. It just feels like the game is trying to waste my time.

Play other games then you actual retard. you knew it was open world but you still bought it

Nier automata

I like it. I just find the side scrolling on the little robot village annoying as fuck

There are plenty of ways to get around it, user. Cook some food, find another way around, climb more effectively, etc. Trying to fly up a mountain like superman is something that should be earned. Go complete some shrines and you'll be jumping like the hulk in no time

Skyrim with some mods
No i didn't. I'd love to go outside instead, but can't with a broken ankle.
For the last 3 weeks i was desperately looking for a game that's actually enjoyable, and could be played on my laptop.
No success...
