Old Quake players, arena shooters fans and I guess the most "hardcore casuals" those that play OW or CS waiting for something better.
You don't notice it here in the "everything sucks" echo chamber but people are actually hyped for QC since the PAX vids, even on arena shooters dedicated forum.

It's still in alpha and already dead though.
Like it or not it's the ability shit -and the loot crates- that will keep QC alive and make it the next big thing in the arena shooter genre.
Quake 3 perfected that genre, if you want a new game like that to sell, you can't ask for inovation and you can't do the same thing either so QC was a logical evolution.
If UT4 change anything people will be mad, they already are. If it was almost the same thing as UT99 or UT2k4 with better graphics and nothing else, it would simply be dead within a year.
