best open empty world of all time
(TĂș)
if it's the best WHY IS IT SO FUCKING SILENT
I really hope more devs take a page from the nintendo handbook. We need more games with this level of polish and interactivity. I really hope the upcoming Mario is just as good
Because it's open world. Imagine hearing this all the time youtube.com
>over 120 dungeons
>near 10 towns
>empty
kek
>dungeons
kek
kek that shit would drive me insane.
If Zelda is so good how come you can't fuck Mipha's fish pussy?
I'm docking 0.5 points from the score for this grave mistake
>it's the best open world game of all time
Your pic say so otherwise
It can't go unpunished
Link does "comfort" Paya for one night.
i wish it had as many fps as it does towns
Is the modern Western games industry nothing but an embarrassment?

>the entire switch library summed up in one picture
Open worlds are allowed to have music. In fact, it's usually encouraged because you're mostly in that open world and you'll be in a situation like this where you're running around in silence.
it looks empty and lifeless
and it looks like shit

You can't fuck something that's dead, user.
Because it probably would've rotted away in the 100 years she's been dead.
Why would you want to play at 10 fps when it manages a steady 20?
Holy shit I wanna fuck that fish pussy
Pablo's English Reading Comprehension
>Get true ending
>Just an extra scene with Zelda's ass
Worth it
I'd hardly say a giant room with a puzzle that takes at most 30 seconds to solve qualifies as a "dungeon"
It doesn't have as many fps as it does towns. It has more.
This is fucking bait.
To be fair, BOTW took a lot of inspiration from other (failed) open world experiments like MGSV. Unlike those games though, it actually took the idea and fully realized it, while also having the usual Zelda catalogue of charming NPCs and comfy towns, and giving the world a really distinct atmosphere and sense of place (something missing in most open world games).
The fact that we've entered an era when panty stains can be lovingly rendered in high quality detail is itself impressive, in a way. Horizon in general definitely sets a new benchmark for sheer graffix power if nothing else.
she has a nice ass
>dungeons
>solve one baby puzzle get heartpeice
>some dont even have puzzles you just get a heart piece for showing up
They also really phoned in some later shrines. there are a bunch that are in the middle of the world and easy to get to, yet still contain no puzzles. You just walk in and collect your prize.
They're mini-dungeons or rather a bunch of big dungeons cut up into small pieces.
>Horizon in general definitely sets a new benchmark for sheer graffix power if nothing else.
Is losing to a PC game that's over ten years old considered impressive for consoles?
minor test of strength
wow
why am I not this creative?
This. You can also play Crysis in super high frame rates instead of 25 on PS4 "ya got jewed" Pro
I just finished the story after stalling for over a week because i wanted to get at least all shrines before going to Ganon.
People told beforehand how easy the fight would be and how disappointed they are, but man.
The fight itself wasn't that easy for me because i am a scrub at dodging and couldnt even figure out how to hit Ganon when he turned into lava, but the whole fight was so damn anti climatic and rushed.
No explanation whatsoever, he just suddenly is this spider guardian abnomination, doesnt even talk and the whole fight just begins without any proper introduction. Zelda isn't even present, we just hear her voice and then after we beat him she is there.
For some reason she also didn't age. Link has an excuse because he was in that magical conserving shrine and all, but what the fuck was Zelda exactly DOING that stopped her aging?
And also, a Ganon that doesn't talk at all is boring as fuck. They should at least have included some flashbacks of how he became this thing and what exactly Zelda has been doing while keeping him there.
I hope the DLC will expand on this, but i won't get my hopes up.
The gameplay and everything besides the Ganon fight was great and i loved it, but i am really disappointed now.
Wind Waker, Twilight Princess and Skyward Sword did a much better job at the finale.
Do not compare horizon to CoD you CODfag
>and what exactly Zelda has been doing while keeping him there
post more of that sweet ass. I'd kill to be balls deep in that pussy
Bro are you serious right now? These aren't fucking dungeons. You don't even fucking fight in a majority of them and when you do its the same fucking ancient robot.
Witcher 3 is a much better game.
pound dat tuna
A lot of the game was rushed and short handed.
t. Sonyggger/pcbro
these retarded bethesda fanboys think if you add a table and a note in a random location that it's handcrafted with so much love
zelda certainly isn't perfect as it obviously has its visual pitfalls and total lack of objects however
>mini-dungeons
You dont know what a dungeon is right?
Is that custom level the size of an open world?
>That whole channel
how the fuck are people coming up with this shit.
Does it matter? The graphics are better.
Leave it to japanese devs to totally btfo western devs at their own game.
>tfw when not poor or a console fan girl and can enjoy every great game that comes out
BotW is great, but they should make the next game like this one except two things:
1. Have 8 or more full dungeons
2. If they even bring weapon durability back, make some weapons indestructible so the player has another reason to keep playing.
Everything else is great, especially the climbing aspect.
it's not healthy to pretend to be a girl, man.
The question is, will Zelda and link have this design in the new smash
I agree with this.
There should be one indestructible weapon of each type in the end of the game that you can only find once you did almost everything, really hard to get to.
A shield too.
Would be great.
zeldafags are cancer
If I posted a video of a walking sim where the entire game takes place in a single room with static objects that never move.. The graphics would technically look better than Crysis. Would you play that game?
It's simply not a fair comparison. Unless you're into those sort of games.
>Replace Toon Link with one of the characters in BotW.
>Play as the best Zora ever designed, Prince Sidon
10/10, would buy a wal-mart out of copies.
>Zelda
>Good
What went through your mind when making this post?
More than Nintendo when making Zelda.
>mad
>jealousy
>Horizon in general definitely sets a new benchmark for sheer graffix power if nothing else.
catching up to modded skyrim (2011) is hardly a "new benchmark"
>If I posted a video of a walking sim where the entire game takes place in a single room with static objects that never move.. The graphics would technically look better than Crysis
wasn't there an engine that had life like grafix but couldnt be used for gaming since it didnt allow things to animate or something? i remember some webms
Probably the truth since the Legend of Zelda series is really overrated.
Haven't played it but it looks pretty great. Makes me evaluate whether I've been wrong not to play any nintendo games for the last 15 years.
>weapon degradation is ok but they have to make it worthless
This is the pinnacle of retardation, user.
>create their first modern open world game
No it didn't. It took the best ideas of all previous open world games and slightly improved them. The first 'modern' open world game would be something like GTA III or Dragon Quest VIII. And Red Dead Redemption was a much bigger step forward than Zelda is.
>it's the best open world game of all time
I love the game, but no it really isn't. They could do a lot more to improve the game. Less shrines and more overworld labyrinths. Replace Korok seeds with something more interesting. Give us a mechanic to change the weather or time of day like in Ocarina of Time (having to set up a campfire to do it is rather slow and annoying, especially since you can't make a campfire in the rain). Fix horses. Etc.
He said "As many" implying that its sub-10. What you responded as makes no sense because it would require for him to say "as few".
If you're going to bant by playing on words, it helps not to be illiterate.
It's not even the best open world game that came out THAT DAY
The truth hurts.
I haven't bought a nintendo console since the 64 and one good game is not gonna make me pick up a switch.
I never even finished OoT when I was a kid. Too afraid to face Ganon.
naga siren is the only fish waifu for me
>it's the best open world game of all time
Even with my 70 hours in the game and still going, that cracks me up.
Half of the shrines have no puzzle, just a blessing or a test of strength against the same single enemy using the same attack patterns again.
Towns are also not that big, though Zelda has never had large towns in the first place
Dungeons /and/ labyrinths.
I only encountered a handful of "walk in and get your prize" shrines that were as simple as you say. But the vast majority of the "walk in" shrines are after a larger puzzle out in the world instead of inside the shrine itself.
I feel like you can tell the Rito section got rushed as fuck. Easy to travel to, and you barely have to do anything beyond getting a second layer of cold protection to get to the divine beast
>And Red Dead Redemption was a much bigger step forward than Zelda is.
Hahahahahahaha
>implying that its sub-10
Yeah no fucking shit, retard.
>it would require for him to say "as few"
No it wouldn't. Learn English please.
Bird or elephant were definitely designed as the dungeons to do first. Camel and King Donkey Kong were the harder ones.
>You don't even fucking fight in a majority of them
That's because the minibosses are in the overworld. A regular Lynel is harder than any boss in any zelda game ever. Breath of the Wild has more Puzzles than any other zelda ever. Is larger than any other zelda ever. More NPCs.
Yeah it may have less "bosses" but at least they aren't a bubble or a hent-eye-ball monster
Great counter argument.
Agree with GTA, but RDR... what? this game was fucking empty and boring.
I feel like smash Zelda is permenantly stuck with the TP design from now on
And BotW Link doesnt prominently don the classic green tunic, so hes out too
>>create their first modern open world game
wrong
>>it's the best open world game of all time
wrong
When you misunderstand two short sentences there's no reason to argue with you
GTA is an open world game, but not free roaming. RDR was Rockstar making an actual free roaming game. Over half the games content is optional and needs to be found by exploring. Breath of the Wild is the same thing. But it isn't as big of an impact if you already played Red Dead Redemption.
>this game was fucking empty and boring.
Well then obviously if you don't like the new Zelda, you probably also didn't like RDR. But neither one was empty. You have had the majority of content needing to be found without an NPC telling you exactly where it was.
but you hear the wind, animals, insects around you. so its not completely silent
At least elephant/Zora had the whole rainy valley to traverse through with no horse, a lot of dialogue with the Zoras, and the shock arrow stealth segment
No, you made two opinions with no real explanation. I made two counter opinions with a lot of explanation for why I feel that way. You realize you can't back up your opinions with examples so you resort to laughing and greentext. I call you out on it and you get mad.
As usual, OP is an idiot.
No. If you don't understand that much it's pointless to argue with you. You're a fucking child Nobody called rdr anything, it wasn't revolutionary, it was boring and empty and it had a shitty ending.
Yeah for sure. The Rito area definitely seems the weakest of the four.
Why cant our horse fast travel with us?
>towns
LOL
Its pretty bad when I find myself questioning whether Kakiriko is any larger than on N64
>I don't have to explain myself because you're an idiot
Okay, then I don't have to keep responding to you either.
There's more buildings, NPCs and quests in the town easily. If all you care about is surface area, then Skyloft is the 'biggest' town in a Zelda game.
Technically as many doesn't imply whether it has less than or greater than what you're comparing it to, retard
>small puzzle rooms with copypasted assets count as dungeons
Neo-Nintendo Fans are a cancer.
