How do we fix the communities of online multiplayer games?
They all suffer from the same problem.

offer a solution, not a shitty thread
being?
Anyone else feel like multiplayer games have lost that social touch to them?
I wouldn't know. I only play games with awesome communities. If you're playing shit like dota or counter strike you literally deserve to be surrounded in shit
I feel like it's literally just a contest to see who can make another person more upset. I've seen people do so many different crazy stupid things just to try to be an ass and ruin the game for everybody.
>Mil-Sim with community of tryhard airsoft fags to scared of joining actual military
nice joke user. almost fell for the bait
FUCKING GO PLAY HELLMOO.
FUCKING
I KEEP SAYING THIS
>t. never played squad
it shows
ok bud
>Anyone else feel like multiplayer games have lost that social touch to them?
MMO's have definitely lost that touch. Most MMo are just single player experiences until you reach max lvl
>18 hours
Stay pleb
>remove people form multiplayer games
There. Fixed.
>he can't be in both military/ROTC(college military training) and enjoy airsoft at the same time
Seriously, I post this every god damn time and none of you do it. This game has literally EVERYTHING YOU WANT.
>FORCES social interaction
>No party finder, no bullshit, no generic grinding for gear tiers
>It's pretty much not even an MMO.
>You have to work together with others
>It's a sandbox, you come up with your own story.
>The final boss is OTHER PLAYERS.
>Full loot PVP
FUCKING. ALL OF YOU IN THIS THREAD GO PLAY THIS, START A CORP AND KILL PEOPLE
What does a good voice sound like Sup Forums? I don't want to cock it up when I need to call something out.
>you will never run deadmines for the first time ever again
Server customization is the key to this.
Allow options for coop based play, PvP, etc. Let people find a server that matches their play style.
Do not implement systems that reward/punish players, like global server ban systems. It does more harm than good.
Games that do server customization correctly, off the top of my head:
>Project Zomboid
>Terraria
>Most source games, minus the hassle of setting up the server itself
Games that do it terribly:
>DayZ
>Counter Strike: Global Offensive
>League of Legends/DOTA 2
I think the trend here is that games revolving around multiplayer are too controlled by game developers, while games with more control over multiplayer itself tend to be more enjoyable for the collective. Let people tailor their own experiences.
If anyone knows any other games, please add them to either list.
