>design a human
>call it an alien
no big deal
you probably have like 10 health bars
>design a fast paced action game

Why was the last boss so easy?
reminds me of the dad from Invader Zim
Who knows.
>The Star
>Easy
Wat? Definitely one of the harder bosses.
I did like the twist that the guy helping you just had a really simple and down to earth motive. Risking the entire planet just because you wanted to see your kid again is pretty stupid, but it's understandable.
GOTY 2016
I dunno I always thought the shmup parts of the game were easier than the melee parts. I had a hard time fighting the samurai guy that only does melee.
To be fair The Star would've just sent down another Rider if he took too long to report in, so the planet was doomed either way. Don't think he knew that, though.
I'm still disappointed that he turned out to be such a letdown. Him using the oar was cool, but his moveset just devolved into Street Fighter-esque projectile spamming.
>First boss is a tutorial fight
>Total push over
>On the higher difficulty, he actually has different patterns
>Becomes a legit boss
I fucking love it when games do that.

MM MM SWAP OO A EE OO O
How much of The Voice's dialogue do you think was a lie? It's clear that he was goading you into fighting them. The diver guy was the most obvious, telling you he was insane when he clearly had a level head and had a reason to hate you.
I fucking loved DMC 4 for that, Dante (the first fight) becomes a legit boss on higher difficulties.
I'm honestly not sure. The diver guy could have genuinely been batfuck nuts - we only see him from the Rider's pov, after all. It could be that he was incapable of thinking about anything but vengeance.

Heh nice try nintendo, but nothing personal toddler.

On a scale of 1 to 10, the soundtrack's an 11, and it'd give itself a 12.
The Line had the best music
The Edge was the best fight
I personally love this one the most.

Broke all KINDS of PRs in squats, deadlift and overhead press while listening to this.
I'm still stuck on the Star, though I haven't played since last time I bitched about it here
Also I thought the Edge was fucking awesome but not hard at all, particularly compared to the Burst
Fuck man. Let it die has some great music for such a shitty game.
Use the charge attack that fires the bigass laser beam
She's too hard otherwise and will eventually overwhelm you
>still can't find a high quality release of the soundtrack
Fuck this.
>this was the last good "free" PS+ game
holy hell
I bought the OST from the digital store they use or whatever when it released. If that quality is good enough for you I could mega upload it or something.
That'd be great.
I just downloaded a torrent from some random website. A legit share would be amazing.
Did REmake come out before or after this? Otherwise I would agree with you.
Uploading it now, gimme a sec.
I just did the scale today.
I am replaying it at furier veeery slowly.
Goty 2016.
Pretty sure most of what he was saying was bullshit. But at the same time it might have been bullshit he believed.
Is the new boss worth it?
There are two bosses
Hit me up. Are they as cool as the rest?
Yes. Especially the second one.
Wait what they added bosses?
The 2nd boss is just a test dummy looking motherfucker but he's the hardest boss in the game by far.
Thanks man.
...
I was lookin for that the other day. Thanks man
That reminds me, gotta try Earth Defense Force
everything but the game itself was good
such a shame it had to be a f2p
