What game did you enjoy that has a bad metacritic score?

about 95% of every games I played, I guess I have shit taste

I enjoyed yours too.

For all the heat Metacritic scores receive on Sup Forums. They tend to be incredibly accurate.

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5 absolutely sucked for the lack of content. Yet the controls (Fuck Skate 3) felt so natural. Once the player gets past the landing penalties for not landing perfectly, the game plays the same as it always has.

I play bargain bin games ironically, and it's incredibly sad to see games like Alekhine's Gun. Games that have the potential to be good, if only they patched out the absolutely horrible artificial difficulty.

Monster monpiece is damn good.

...

I'm glad I played it back when the online was alive.

This game is the epitome of haters gonna hate.

This and I'm positive I'll enjoy Star Ocean V once I get around to having time to playing it.

Liked how it mixed elements from agarest and nep.

Did feel pretty burned out by the end though.

AndI feel the same about SO5, haven't played yet but it's on my PS4 for whenever I feel like it.

Jaws Unleashed for the ps2. I genuinely enjoyed it was surprised that it was rated so damn low years ago, like 3.0 low.

>Want to buy the physical version for collection reasons
>$39.99
Just painful.

I'm even pondering to replay despite having platinum already... honestly I don't know why, but I just want to (whopping 42 on metacritic).

Bought it when it was $, I'd say it was worth every penny. The combo system in combat feels rewarding as fuck and it's a bit addicting to strategize to get the most out of it.

*$5

Hadn't played Agarest. That's got a couple of games in the series, right?

I just ordered a copy of this game and I'm expecting to regret it.

Please tell me something redeeming about this game.

Ar nosurge

It got as low rated as it did because nobody played Ciel nosurge before it. Not that it didn't still have problems, but it confused most people who played it without Ciel even more.

Not that game op. It's shit.

wizardy:tale of a forsaken land

I second this.

It is much better than the scores suggest. I think the sudden difficultly spike caused some rage quits.

Came here to post this. I actually am most interested in Gust titles that are not Atelier.

About to get started on it beyond the intro. Is there anything more to it than the gay romance undertones? I mean so far I'm mostly worried about how stiff the dodging seems to be. Makes the whole combat feel a bit worse than it should be.

This one I don't dislike the system, but the lack of information is a bit frustrating at times. Props for making appropriate instructions and key prompts, but the port is otherwise pretty bad, between alt tabs issue, and the fact a lot of SUPER FUCKING LOUD sounds are not adjustable. Also, the lack of info is a bit annoying at times.
