You can start your os in 5 seconds... that's it.. absolutely zero benefits to gaming

Depends on game. Useless for some of them, vital for some of them.

He's washed up but he's right.

It's great. The games play themselves! I just leave my gaming PC on when I'm out of the house, and when I get back I don't need to play them anymore.

You should get one OP, you'll be amazed with all the free time you'll have.

I don't know a lot about computers but I think you are wrong

This reminds me of a Senke Kagero's doujin

There's more to it than shoulders user.

He is. SSDs will speed up loading times a lot. If a game has to load assets from the drive, like, well, literally every game but dwarf fortress, an ssd will make it more enjoyable.

what a sex fiend

SSDs are quality of life purchases more than traditional gaming "performance" gains. Loading times are drastically cut down.

This, but don't be retarded and use your SSD for games, use it only for your OS and put all games in a regular HDD.

Writing/erasing a lot of shit on your SSD will kill it pretty fast.

Not true anymore. Modern SSDs can sustain petabytes of read/writes.

Objectively wrong.
Granted not EVERY game benefits greatly from an SSD, but the ones that do get a significant boost in load times.

Reminds me of Satsuki Itsuka.
