Name one (1) reason why someone would buy this?

Name one (1) reason why someone would buy this?

Protip: you can't

They like dicks in the ass

Because its being lead by one of the most trustworthy guys in the industry

Psn is always down, unlike xbox live
Best controller by miles

For this sweet sweet exclu- oh...wait

I don't know if you're dumb but both horizon and zelda are multiplatforms

PSN hasn't been down for me in months but i like how you're trying.

Best controller thanks user that funny, the bone controller is small and shit.

>Backwards compatibility
PC has this
>Psn is always down, unlike xbox live
PC has free multiplayer (unless you're still playing WoW, in which case you are a massive faggot) that cannot go down
>Best controller by miles
which is compatible with PC

just buy a new GPU instead

Horizon multi platform

what user?

Horizon isn't multiplate and Zelda is still console exclusive to Nintendo

1/10 you tried

For someone that doesn't own or want to build a pc

The get a PS4 which does what it does but better and with exclusives

Americanfats don't need it

>4K Ultra HD Player
>A good companion console if you have a PC due to the Play Anywhere initiative
>Possibly the best controller out of the bunch which is also easy compatible with PC
>Better games then PS+
>Xbox Live is better and more reliable than PSN
>A better alternative to play MS games than putting windows 10 on your machine
>Access to MS games like Halol, Gears, Forza, State of Decay 2, Killer Instinct, Crackdown 3, Sea of Thieves etc
>If you eventually sell your xbone you can still play your games on PC (well windows 10)
>And vice versa if you are sick of win 10 and want a console your library would carry over to xbone
>Xbox 360 BC that works really well and titles are added every week

That's what I can currently think of, this is coming from an idort so I can say this honestly. I play on my xbone more than my PS4, the only reason I go back to my PS4 is to play an exclusive that comes every once in a while or to play Binding of Issac.

Xbone has exclusives and IMO better than the PS4, better online, and better controller

>Better exclusive
Where?

Post speccy faggot.

>Gears
>Halo
>Forza
>inb4 they are on PC
It's basically the same ecosystem. If buy the game no matter the platform, you get it for the other too.

You can get good, older games for free. That's about, uh, it.

killer instinct
nevermind you can play that on pc

It was a laughing stock when it was first unveiled back then, and it's still a laughing stock to this day.
I still cannot come up with a single legit reason to ever buy an Xbox One.
The incredibly small quantity of people who bought it were simply diehards of the 360 userbase that thought they were getting a superior, upgraded product and ignorant kids who didn't know what they were getting into. That's it.

The xbone is doing pretty well sales wise if you look into it, not PS4 level sales but still good sales none the less.

>owns Xbox one
>owns PS4
>owns gaming PC GTX 1070 I7
>owns Nintendo switch
>has job and can afford all of it

>not a broke user

Better online, cheaper better controller likes forza, gears and halo but doesn't own a good gaming pc.

forza, i guess

cos i like to sit back with a nice controller in my hand and play a game rather than sit upright and play using a fucking keyboard

Im just waiting for the scorpio

All those games but Forza are shit and milked and if you're not a car game fag you have nothing.

Really makes you think.

Same price as a standalone 4K Blu Ray player

you can do both on PC you autistic monkey.

Your friends have them and you want to play with them.

I got one for Halo, because I gave 343 a second chance after H4 and fooled myself into believing the MCC hype.

I'm building my PC now. Wish I'd have got one/ a PS4 years ago.

and spend ages fucking about syncing controller buttons and shit. doesnt work as good as xbox obviously

To use it as a PC link and/or media station.

Not that user but I can't hook my PC up to my TV without a long ass hdmi or some streaming device.

Not only that my PC is kinda loud when playing game. The new xbone is pretty whisper quiet and now with play anywhere stuff I can switch between platforms pretty easily.

What the fuck are you talking about? I plug in controller my buttons are fine, if you're emulating shit of course you have to put in my effort.

Fuck you its not! The ps controller is small for them lil jap hands and weebs who wanna feel how japs play. my fingers are awkwardly bundled up when playing. Xbone controllers are made for them big murican bear paws which are good for two other things; diddling and counting money!

>spend ages fucking about syncing controller buttons
How's the weather in the year 2000?

It is? This could be a somewhat valid reason to pick up an Xbone.

enjoy your whisper quiet console with no games I guess. Get some quiet fans not that hard and the steam link is fine for streaming single player stuff.

I'd say it is.

I remember when the PS3 came out and I knew a lot of store clerks who would get people to buy PS3s instead of blu ray players due to the PS3s being much cheaper.

I buy what I want actually

I should also look into a 4K TV. Do you have any recommendations? Mostly just something for a bedroom.

>Backwards compatibility
3 years into the gen, no one really gives a fuck
>Psn is always down, unlike xbox live
I don't really hear about PSN being down much, at least not like the early PS3 era
>Best controller by miles
Nah, the new one is too flat. 360 controller was better, they just had to make the face buttons flat and fix the dpad

I'm enjoying it more than my PS4

>the steam link is fine for streaming single player stuff.

I always forget this and the Steam controller exists, I wouldn't mind picking a Steam Link up. Is the latency all right?

>A good companion console if you have a PC due to the Play Anywhere initiative
>A better alternative to play MS games than putting windows 10 on your machine
Directly contradicting yourself

Steam Controller is a bit memey and annoying to setup but if you put in the time it can do a lot of shit. Latency for the link is fine but my router, PC, and steamlink are in the same room so idk about other setups.

Yeah, I ended up getting one for my parents for Christmas because it was the same price and actually easier to get. Bonus I can play Forza when I'm at their house.

The point I'm making is that people either like Windows 10 or hate it. If you like it it's a perfect companion console. If you hate it but want to play the games exclusive to Xbox/Win10, it's a better alternative to putting win 10 on your system.

You ever masturbate at their house?

I bought it when it still had exclusives, now it collects dust.

Ah, if I used it it would be across a house. I'm interested to see what the latency would be like in a set up like mine. I'm gonna ask around and see if some firends have one, thanks user.

What's the point of these threads I see them all the time you ask the questions but don't accept the answers why do you care how others spend their money on a hobby?
