Actual gameplay question that I've been avoiding asking cause I didn't wanna get into power gaming: Is there any reason NOT to use the level up casting system from the wizard's glacite thing? I just got divine saber on Phi which is like 3 steps up from geostigma, but that still seems faster than casting it starting from 1 stage up, let alone trying to raw cast it.

If you want to hear the cast lines. Also, if you want to cast faster. You can't queue up the next level of casting so you have a mandatory wait time while it registers that you do, in fact want to keep casting the next higher level spell.

Doing (4 hidden arts then break soul) raw cast void mire>dark fangs>divine saber seems slower than doing raw cast (4 hidden arts then break soul) geostigma>void mire>etc. Obviously I don't have any empyrical evidence of this, which is why i'm curious now.
