>Fabolous Red Mage is now canonically female job
Damn

I'll ask here again, is savage Midas content clearable without a static?

>no female hyur
Fuck you
>b-but the monk
Mhiggers aren't people

yes
You'll have to find people that actually want to do it though

I wanna do it for the armor, I don't want to wear Shire.

Where'd that image come from?

How can other roles even compete?

>healer not also doing dps
That's a shit healer you got there.

90% of dps players suck though

>DPSfags trying THIS hard to convince themselves they're smart

Lol'd

Objectively hardest to play optimally role list

Healer >>>>>>>>>>>>>> Tank >> DPS

is this the correct new thread or the samurai one

Samurai, which was made earlier.

Just pick the one you want to post in

Stop playing machinist.

But it allows me to be a special snowflake

>playing the erp job

I just realized that we'll have a E3 liveletter. Maybe we'll get some trailers then.

a8s in i270 gear is still harder than everything in creator. You can brute force the first 3 turns but a8s in a pug is gonna be rough unless you're all willing to sit down and be a bit methodical with it.

we aren't a general
at least, we are pretending not to be
arguing over threads is pointless but this one can be searched easily

so does anyone know why do DRKs hold their sword that way?

t. blm

Up to you and your priorities. Stormblood does have HW with it, if you rather save money and don't care much for the endgame, i.e. it'll be there when you get there. Otherwise no reason to start HW now.

And what's the recommended ilvl? Mine is currently at 235. Also, how can I get better armor if I don't go Midas savage?

>Playing the bare minimum job

lel

No way, dude.
I'm a bard, I luve playihg te foe reqiem

Stop playing Austin's game.

Got a walmart gift card I don't plan to use, should I use it for a prepaid debit card and buy some gil for a weeb house when stormblood hits

as high as you can get
Midas Savage is obsolete, you can get i250 gear with tokens from Creator Normal, i265 gear from diadem, and weekly i260 gear /270 accessory from dun scaith

Recommended for midas? Well obvious now you can go in unsynced and in i270 gear, but it dropped i240 gear back when it was current if thats what you mean. So you would've progressed through it in i230++

If you want to raise your itemlevel you don't need to do midas savage at all. Old raid tiers are obsolete once a new tier replaces them, and you can easily get shire/dun scaith/diadem gear now that is all i260+.

You run dun scaith for i260 gear, creator normal for i250, and spend your scripture on i260 pieces. It's pretty straightforward. You can google stuff like "ffxiv gear path 3.5" and find more detailed explanations pretty easily.

>tfw play nin but bards won't foes so I can raiton

literally the 2nd sluttiest job after whm

REMOVE CATS

Remove Cats and then Lizard Sluts

Will she die in the next patch?

...

I always play foes even if there is no dps casters in the group. It helps healers damage as well as drk and nin.

>You will never delete cats, lizards and potatoes from this game
>thus improving it tenfold

...

Remove male everything.

>play NIN, WAR in party
>never puts up eye

>play WAR, NIN in party
>keeps overwriting my eye

well that sucks

>ANOTHER slashing job
Instead of that weeb crap they should've introduced another blunt job like black belt

What if I play a maleRoe WHM? Do I get bullied?

I-I'll just switch to my MRD. That'll show 'em.

Is the alex creator normal armor better than what drops in Dun? It has skill speed compared to determination.

>Bothering with Eye instead of just going straight into Block Combo after Maim

>black belt
that's MNK

If NIN overwrites your eye there's a possibility they were out of position, Dancing Edge has no positional penalty.

Hahah who am I kidding they're just bad.

kill yourself my man

You first, I'll follow.

>play nin, war in party
>do butcher butcher eye, always drop eye
>dude why you use dancing lmao

>he thinks SCH is also a feminine job

i kek'd

All healers and tanks are canonically female

How about just make all physical damage a universal thing as damage types are stupid
>Be monk
>Weapon is literally a huge fucking spike
>might as well be a sword
>it does blunt

Depends on your stat weights for your job, but typically it isn't. Alexander Creator is i250 vs Dun Scaith's i260, so the i250 gear would have to have much better substats to be beat out i260 shit.

>Tanks is hyur male WAR, roe male PLD and au ra male DRK
>Female

Stupid girl poster

>butcher butcher eye
>manages to drop it
even when not playing ninja this pisses me off because it's so noticeable
i wish people would practice on dummies more to make sure they know what they're doing

>Get CUL to 37
>Already want to kill myself
How the fuck does anyone get all crafting jobs to 60, I haven't even done one and I want to kill myself.

at this point either the devs are getting rid of resistance buffs or just have no fucking clue how their game works. its the latter

>job about doing nothing
>not female only

Generally speaking no, and it's not worth your time to try to optimize gear you're going to replace after a couple weeks. As a new player you want to get your ilvl up as quickly as possible in order to access the most current content, and running A11N 36 times to try and win gears to get crit/Det gloves instead of taking the accuracy/parry pieces of shit from a 24 man is just going to make you frustrated and it won't matter in 8 days when you replace your gloves. Look up the stat weights for your job if you haven't and that can serve as a guide to gear pathing when you start on equal footing with everyone else, or for building a BiS set.

Should I buy heavensward and try to catch up or wait for stormblood and save money

Bots.

>play nin
>tank freezes in front of a boss when you have 50+ seconds of huton but immediately pulls after you're forced to refresh it and mudra is on cool down
If you're a tank that does this in a dungeon fuck you, you're getting shadewalked and I'm pulling for you
>Inb4 why isn't he shadewalked already
If you need it outside of a raid you're a failure as a tank

it's absolute cancer before you get most of your skills, around late 50s-60 it starts to become fun
goes from being a snooze to an actually interesting minigame for me at least

gathering is forever cancer though

Stop using male retainers.

you sold me on this

>Girls taking the leadership role in a party

lol no

>tfw you talk to other NINs and they all act like pic related
I just wanted to be a rogue and hang out with Jacke, why isn't thf a job

>tfw made all 4 of my retainers face 3 himecut lizards

Wait isn't the red mage a female midlander? It sure looks like it.

>Tanks taking leadership

Spot the silly duty finder gipsy.

Tanks are just jamboys keeping the flies away, not leaders.

>tank
>leader
You like receptionists in the office at best

>MNK still plays the same at 70 as it did at 50/60

Stop posting skin cancer patients and go back to /vg/

>tanks
>leaders
Found the insecure manlet, the only ones that think tanks are leaders are the ones with nothing going on in their lives that desperately need some form of validation

>tfw can't process any of my crafts because shards and jews
There's no profit in raw mats sadly.

you get most of your skills already at 50 though
but post-50 crafting is too expensive for me to bother
of course it might not be the same person but this is what he was talking about

Why mess with perfection

>every full rotation now adds 1 chakra

Nobody is making anything right now. It's like you're trying to open an ice cream shop in the dead of winter. There's money to be made still in certain things, but the economy follows the content cycle in the sense that it's boom and bust.

I find tanks to be the best raid leaders. They seem to be the most situational aware. Healers would also be good raid leaders because they know why and when people die too.

All monk got in HW was quality of life:

>"The Boss keeps transitioning and I lose my stacks!"
>Gets a huge OGCD to expend GL on and something to spam during downtime
>"Howling Fist is okay but why is it such long CD and small AoE?"
>Gets an oGCD superior to Howling Fist in every way
>"I keep running out of TP when my Team let's me Training Dummy on a Boss!"
>Gets an alternate way of TP Regen + nerfs to TP costs in every patch

Monks way of playing doesn't change, it just stays the same but better.

Too bad it is competeing for worst job in the game with Bard at the moment.

God I fucking hate cats.

You ain't seen nothing yet
Wait till you get to 50+ where you realize you also must level your gatherers and gather a billion materials for a single craft

And 4.0 is literally just remaking MNK as SAM even with the forms, but now with slashing instead of blunt.

I want to impregnate catgirls

4.0 is removing slash, pierce and blunt damage
And accuracy.

>role has enough time to stand around and watch what everyone else is doing
>tries to say it's hard and takes skill

Crafters are piss easy. You get a huge amount of EXP from leves and beast quests (you can even do 12 Ixal quests), and you can easily craft base materials with Quick Synthesis for extra levels and money while you shitpost on Sup Forums.
If you want to get a taste of hell, try gatherers. Even with leves you have to collect +40 trash items, one by one. At least Collectible leveling isn't so slow.

What about dragon girls?

citation needed

>canon sexes for jobs

Is the game so fucking boring you'll make up just about anything to post?

Purge.

>It's like you're trying to open an ice cream shop in the dead of winter
is that joke here that Ishgard is cold
even the quests post 50 are retarded
like that one BSM quest where you have to forge a HQ hammer but they give you the NQ of that exact same hammer
I hope they unfuck the crafting somehow in SB but I don't think that's going to happen

>the game will be even more shallow

FFXIV is one of those MMOs that manages to get worse every update

WHM male roes make the best healsluts.

I see you are a man of tastes as well

>white lala
she better

>Using Quick Synth
>Not macroing a rotation that nets you exp and quality as much as possible

There are ways to make crafter levelling easy, fast and even profitable.
