No. The patch that got released fixed the Vexen and Saix battles, but everything else is still broken and the save game crash still exists.

No, it crashes when you're trying to save your game, and you lose all progress. The Xemnas crash is a completely different bug.

Never played kingdom hearts but I've just watched aladdin return of jafar and I really wanted to hate it but it was actually kind of enjoyable. Gilbert Gottfried single handedly saved that movie in my opinion. Do I have shit taste?

I loved Return of Jafar as a kid so I have a hard time hating it even if it isn't nearly as good as the first movie. It's definitely a hit or miss for most people, but it is a fun movie.
King of Thieves was shit though.

Not exactly, if you've been playing over several days your PS4 will have a save archived which it will recover.
FFXV blue screened on me whilst saving once and when I restarted the game I had only lost about an hour or so of gameplay. Annoying but not a huuuge issue really. Just back up your saves frequently. I know it should't happen to begin with but there is a way around it.
