papa nier best protag

fpbp
>people unironically want a replicant remaster

gorilla friendship man

FUCKING STOP WITH THE NIER THREADS.

BROTHER PLEASES OLD MEN FOR MONEY AND BLAME YONAH FOR IT

9S had the better development, but Papa Nier is the better protag. You just can't beat a father trying to save his daughter.

BUT WHAT DO YOU MEAN THERE ARE LIKE DOZENS OF BOTW AND CONSOLEWAR LIKE WE ARE NOT ALLOWED TO DISCUSS VIDEO GAMES ON VIDEO GAME BOARD? WOW GO BACK TO YOUR COD WEW

FUCKING IMPLYING WE ARE TAKING ABOUT GAMES, JUST WAIT A FEW MINUTES AND THIS WILL TRANSFORM INTO A "2B IS THE MOST PERFECT FEMALE EVER", LIKE IT HAPPENS IN EVERY AUTOMATA THREADS, GO BACK TO BEING A WAIFUFAG.

Fuck off back to your BOTW circlejerks.

I DON'T EVEN LIKE BOTW, BUT THANKS FOR BEING A FAGGOT I GUESS.

Papa Nier >= 9S >>>>>shit >>>>> Fuccboi Nier

You are trying to say it's literally not okay when we tarofans do this? Wow, fuck off?

Papa Nier was the best. The interactions and conversations in the first Nier were better too.

Nier Automata was great, but I wasn't super bummed out about anything that was happening to the cast throughout the story. I was always more worried about the things Nier, Kaine, Emil, and Weiss were going through. But I suppose that's just what happens when your cast is human.

Fucking shoot yourself my man.

Well give me a gun and I will.

Papa Nier is the most likable and unique.
Bro Nier had the most well developed role as protagonist, in that the entire game is about the innocent sind of his archetype.
Nines is the most well developed and realistic.

They're all good protagonists for different reasons, but Kaine/A2 is the actual (Byronic) hero.

*innocent sins, fuck me.

I see a lot of the argument for people caring more about the characters in the og Nier. But i felt like the characters in Automata were really well written, and their actions all made sense in the context of the story. Having too much interactions between them would feel out of place and wouldn't fit the setting
Personally i liked the characters from both games and i appreciate the Automata crew being a little bit less fleshed ou

Drakengard and Nier write characters from a masculine perspective while D3 and Automata are written from a feminine perspective.

No seriously. That's why people react that way. Nier characterizes through overt action and conflict while Automata characterizes via implication and personal drama.

I haven't played Replicant, so I can't comment there, but other than that, definitely this.

Automata is a 10/10 masterpiece but none of their playable characters was as likable to me as Nier.
