Majora's Mask > Breath of the Wild > Ocarina of Time > Wind Waker > Twilight Princess > Skyward Sword
Don't mind me, just bringing themost correct opinion to Page 10
agreed.
as long as skyward sword is last I don't give a shit where anyone puts the other games
Switch WW and SS and it's perfect, even if I'd personally put OoT over BotW, they're close enough where that's not a big deal. And I might end up improving my opinion on BotW as I play it more anyway.
Switch BotW and MM and you've got my list exactly.
No matter how you feel about WW, it was, is, and always will be better than SS.
BotW does everything that Majora's Mask did right wrong, except for atmosphere.
BotW is actually a game that gets worse the more you play it, unlike MM/OoT.
No, Majora's Mask has inferior overworld content compared to BotW. There are barely any secrets to find in Termina aside from the occasional grotto and an interesting sidequest or two.
>b-but sidequests
The only interesting sidequest in MM is the one with Anju and Kafei, and maybe the one with the aliens. Not as much going for it as people like to pretend.
While BotW has a better overworld, Majora's Mask definitely has better overworld content. The shrines in BotW are tedious as fuck due to how many unskippable cutscenes you have to slog through every fucking time, while Majora's Masks overworld just has tons of secret areas in it.
Also, say what you will about MM's sidequests, but atleast they aren't "collect x amount of material and come back to me"
ELDER GOD TIER
Breath of the Wild
GOD TIER
Majora's Mask
Link's Awakening
Legend of Zelda
TOP TIER
Ocarina of Time
Link to the Past
Oracle of Seasons/Ages
Link Between Worlds
GREAT TIER
Wind Waker
Twilight Princess
Minish Cap
GOOD TIER
Skyward Sword
Spirit Tracks
Phantom Hourglass
Haven't played BotW yet, but everything else looks in place, nice going OP
swap MM and BotW and you're good to go
>Majora's Mask definitely has better overworld content
Not really. I've completed MM to 100% on several occasions and while the secrets in Termina are nice, there's just less to find than in BotW's map. And I'm not just referring to shrines but the amount of overworld puzzles and hidden stuff in general.
Sure there's "less" to find, but the optional content of BotW is extremely tedious and unrewarding in comparison due to all of the grinding and repetitive cutscenes and shit. It's Quality > Quantity. Again, the overworld of BotW is god-tier but the content within the overworld? Not so much.
No need, BotW is just a better overall game.
Did you not read my post?
Again, we could cut out shrines ENTIRELY from the comparison and BotW still has more secrets.
Seriously, list the amount of secrets in Termina and I'll give you a list that's at least twice as big.
>Worse story
>worse characters
>worse sidequests
>worse music
>worse dungeons
>3d instead of 4d
>no goron rolling/zora swimming
I don't think you know what "overall" means.
What grinding? How are the cutscenes repetitive when you can just skip them?
>when you can just skip them
..but you can't
>what grinding?
Material grinding for sidequests.
HOLY FUCK!
Even I who hate Nintendo and don't even like Zelda recognize these are unparalleled games:
Ocarina of Time
Majora's Mask
Link's Awakening
Link to the Past
>people legitimately think Breath oTW is better than Links Awakening, MM, and OoT
Take a step back, bros. When your honeymoon period is over you're going to feel retarded
>but you can't
You literally can. I skip them all the time.
>Material grinding for sidequests
So like many of MM's sidequests then?
Also many of BotW's sidequests don't even have material grinding and actively make use of the game's core mechanics instead, such as combat, horse taming or stealth. The number of these sidequests are also greater than MM's.
>The only interesting sidequest in MM is the one with Anju and Kafei
>i share a board with this person
>
>So like many of MM's sidequests then?
Majora's Mask doesn't have materials you fucking retard
>Ocarina of time runs at 12 fps
>Breath of the wild runs at 25 fps
At least they're making progress.
Stuff like stray fairy collecting and the frog choir involves the same fucking task, don't be dense.
Oh, right, and many of MM's sidequests involve just talking to an NPC at the right time, which is about as exciting as it sounds. Which is to say not at all.
>fairy collecting and frog choir is the same thing as hoping to get an item after killing a specific type of enemy and repeat ad infinitem
>thinking that MM's sidequests just involve talking to an NPC at the right time
I hope for your sake you're trolling.
or maybe some people actually think it's just a better game?
shocking, i know!
If you don't equate stray fairy collecting and the frog choir quests to material grinding then you'd need to equate it to the dozens of other sidequests in BotW where you're looking for unique/specific things instead, but BotW has MORE of those quests anyway so it's a moot point.
MM's other sidequests, excluding the Anju/Kafei quest, are either "go to this NPC at this time" or "do this minigame". Which is what BotW already has.
