Anyone else having trouble connecting online?

Did they shut down the servers?

You have a corrupted game connection. You'll need to reinstall it using a different key.

Servers are still up actually. darkspore's offline though.

is partially right, just reinstall, but make sure you deactivate first so you don't use up a key you'll never get back. Or contact EA support, they're easily the best of the live-chat supports.

Or you could just download one of those huge ass character packs that adds a ton more variety to the universe.

Do people play this game? I played it at launch and i sucked balls.

I've played it around 2012-2013 and there was many people creating a shitload of custom content.

Looking at the spore forums, seems like it's still alive even today.
