Double barrel shotty in serious sam TFE/TSE is pretty great, got that meaty oomf you want in a shotgun.

Doom 1 still has one of the best in my opinion. Serious Sam and F.E.A.R. have pretty good ones as well.

New Vegas' hunting shotgun is unironically one of my favorite guns in vidya

Fallout 3 doesn't have the best anything.

Best anti-flood weapon, looked simplistically pleasant, had a good ammo count, and so on. Served it's purpose well as it was designed to.
