deux ex every now and then
aoe2 actively
doom sometimes.
I just replayed this with BloodCM. Only had minor glitches but otherwise works well. And the mouselook is no longer fucked.
Been playing the Turok 2 remaster since it was released. The remaster is poorly optimized but the game itself is 10/10
No, I'm not a nostalgiafag.
I play Doom, Blood and Patrician 3 regularly. I play other old games but not regularly.
I still play UT2004 with BW mod.
BW is just so much fun
I am doing a wizardry 6 through 8 run with one party. Coordinating class changes on 6 is a pain in the ass due to rng level up stats.
>playing an old game is nostalgia
kys
Against other players or just bots? The bots really aren't designed for the weapons and still stand out in the open often so it doesn't really work out with them.
Against others of course. Surprisingly enough there are still active BW servers.
The only games I play nowadays would probably be considered 'old' by modern Sup Forums's standards
granted my cutoff point is around the 2001 mark
Heh, you've fallen for my epic ruse.
Is the version of Blood on Steam any good? Always wanted to try it.
Either the Steam or GOG version. Follow this guide:

old games are the best
>cheap
>easy to run
>tech limitations kept developer autism in check
and best of all
>no shills
I'm finishing top gear 2 after I cleared Super mario kart. I tired getting into f-zero but the lazy add-on (vehicles keep spawning only to trow you off) and a map where you die if you aren't fast enough just killed my desire to play it.
The mouselook was never fucked if you know how to set up DOSbox. BloodCM is still shit.
I've been playing a lot of RCT 2 lately. I'm student teaching and when the kids go to music or P.E. or whatever I'll play about 30 min or so. works good on my $200 cloudbook
Doing a first playthrough of HERETIC. Finding all the secrets, so I keep burning the fuck out. Fuck pressing space on every faggy wall.
I replay this game every other year
They also tended to have the worst quality control and balance and bug issues because most games never really went through a formal evaluation stage. At least for PC that is.
Gothic and operation flashpoint are probably the only old games i keep replaying, but i do still play old games that i havent played before, they are better than most new games
Is that a...
Is that a JoJo reference?
Thats just casual filter
is that, dare I say it, a jojo reference?!
>en.m.
no
I still play diablo 2 one time each year or so.
80-90's games with emulator, doom wads every day since i was 9 years old, nowadays i'm more active with CSGO but still get that urge to marathon a couple of megawads in a single sitting
>tfw doom DM is dead
Ive been playing chex quest first time, pretty fun
pic related good music for chilling out and playing while laying down
I feel like shit when I play old games for 4+ hours, like its a waste of time I think I'm starting to hate vidya
You can't seriously tell me it's gotten any better. It's easier for devs to get patches out now, but games are still terribly broken on launch, even the biggest names.
>It's easier for devs to get patches out now
this is the root of the problem
back in the day you had to fix all bugs before release, nowadays they just go "eh, we'll patch it later if we have time"
I play more old games than I do new games. Don't have many choices when it comes to crpgs or fps.
