These are my honest thoughts. Both are great games, Witcher 3 evidently has superior graphics but I found myself having more fun with Zelda.

I tried to like Witcher 3 but got bored of it.

I had a great time with witcher 2 but lost interest at the camp segment with the ghosts or whatever it was, dropped it and never played it again.

I had a good time with Witcher 3 up until some point right after the Baron's questline, where I lost interest, dropped it, and never played it again.

To be fair I have this problem with almost all fantasy games, as soon as it becomes about interacting with the people of the world it bores the shit out of me. I just wanna explore castles and fight dragons and shit.

It really isn't. Zelda just has a bigger fanbase. Depends on taste which you think is better, Witcher is def more mature though.

I gave Witcher 3 a good ten hours, but it just didn't keep me interested. Oddly enough, I thought the game mechanics and fighting were pretty neato, but I had no investment in the narrative.

It actually is, because objective just means that the majority of people making the same experience would come to the same result.

That being said, the majority of players don't talk about gameplay in witcher at all, instead they talk about the whores, sex scenes and how good the game looks. Nobody ever even mentions fun.
On the other hand people mostly talk about the gameplay for Zelda and how much fun they have with it.

So objectively Zelda is much more fun than Witcher and most people who thought they have fun with Witcher just aren't very good at fun in the first place.
