Levelling sucks, level design sucks, world design sucks, writing sucks, items suck, character builds suck, difficulty levels suck. The only good thing is that it has a lot of particle effects.

I started in S9, got to Rank 300 on the HC ladder, and then realized how dull and shallow the actual game is.

If I do play S10 I'll go M6 Demon Hunter and transition into Lightning Impale RG killer build or abuse the S2/N6 build.

Probably because he doesn't want more games similar to D3 made, and would prefer developers take the genre in a different direction.

I had no intention of posting in this thread and I don't shit on people who play it, but it would make me immensely happy if I could read tomorrow that no one plays the game anymore.

Blizzard is getting really lazy with their games. Diablo 3 is only popular due to a combination of being WoW players' first ARPG and doubling down on the slot machine aspect. It's not only insulting to old fans, it's abusive to new fans who assume that D3 is as good as it gets.

D3 should fail so Blizzard realized they need to put more care and innovation into their products, as well as convince them to make D4.

Flail of the Ascended still isn't fixed, so Shield Basher is still heavily outclassed by Sweep.

Sweep is still heavily outclassed by LoN and Hammers .

The season mechanic is fun and they add a lot every season. If you don't enjoy it, then it's not the game for you. It's fun to play it for a week or so at the start of the season and then put it down again.

No there's hate because it's been the same meta game for each season since paragon came out.

Sit out first 2 days
Get a power level
Grind Paragon with 3 others
Get Geared
Grind paragon more until end of season
It's the same game every season, same boring meta, same boring classes, same boring " increases attack X by %3000" set bonuses

I think modern blizz is trash and hated vanilla D3 but RoS made D3 somewhat playable. Like a very soft 6/10. Something to turn on once in awhile and turn off your brain.

Unhallowed Essence grenade build, ran that last season and it was plenty fun and pretty easy to clear 70gr solo.

Great for push and for speedfarm

Nothing, the game fundamentally plays the same.
Bounties for reforges.
Torments for DBs
Rifts for Paragon

Lame. Was hoping for some kind of content updates in between. There's only so much interest I gain from new builds.

Is Uliana's still the best build for Monk? I was soloing torment X rifts with ease because of how laughable it was.

Monks are still the best zdps class in the game, so it's better just to play support and grind paragon in 4mans, since main stat is all that matters

Yeah, Shadows Mantle but melee blows balls with it.

Yeah, it's fun for low Torments. But going for (6)set seems pointless if you want to grind high rift levels.

DMO is pretty lackluster, but it's alright to play until you get firebirds or other set pieces for lightning wizard

It can proc on CC immune mobs if that's what you're asking, so yes it works on bosses. It will proc the damage but not the stun.

M6 is easy mode build that lets you get to GR85 with no augments whatsoever. It's also the Gift for S10, so just go M6 and grind the pieces I need for S2/N6

If by melee you mean actually going up to monsters and whacking them on the heads then no. If you mean using a set that focuses on using melee weapons and abilities that synergize with them then yes. Shadow's Mantle got buffed and is actually usable to solo and for groups.

Pretty much the same situation with heroes of might and magic 6 for me, everyone here hated it when it came out but I got like 1200 hours on the game, which is a lot considering I only played it singleplayer

The game is pretty comfy, user. With or without friends. Set a movie/show to one side of the screen, D3 to the other side and chill.

It's better than PoE, the butthurt newfags that hate Diablo are just too poor to afford the better game, that or they're autistic nostalgia-fags who can't accept that there's a sequel to D2.

Hmm, I dunno. The wiz sets dont really pique my interest. I've only really done one or two seasons, doing barb last season with the rend/WW set, and monk with sweeping wind set.

Bought it during S9 when it was on sale for $20 buckaroos, made my character (crusader), played HC and got bored of how dull the endgame was.

So I quit, might come back for S10 for a good 20-30 hours to waste but not likely

Lightning build is very glass canon, also hammerdin for crusader, if you don't like the "stay at max range and kite enemies" gameplay then I'd suggest going Monk or Witch doctor for season 10

Also I never go super high in GR, pretty much just try to get to where ancient stuff drops.

Generator builds for monk is pretty much dominating at the moment

Exploding palm set is pretty much one of the worst sets at the moment unfortunately, it can clear gr70 but not as easily as other monk builds

The changes we want aren't coming till necro comes out. People want the devs to pump money into the game when the game doesn't generate any money. Hopefully necro helps with this.

There is no threshold at which ancients begin to drop, my man. Everytime a legendary drops it has a 1/10 chance to be ancient.

Give it a more 'polished' look with the dyes. It's kind of bland at the moment.

There should be many changes coming with the Necromancer xpac. That'll be season 11 or 12

He means Primal ancients, which are now the only ancients to care about.

Normal ancients are salvage on sight status.

The one that works with dashing strike? I could work with that, high movement builds are always fun.

my fovorite of those is grimdawn, but for some reason i keep coming back to diablo 3.
the combat is by far the best of any arpg out there. and that at the end, is what most matters

Pretty sure that Innas is a better generator now, which is bretty nice since that's the set you get in season journey in season 10
