Collect all the POWs on that level & then tell me it's the best game. X/2 is a much better game.

People went into the files on the PSP anthology & found out they used bootleg roms. Many laughs were had.

It's an arcade game. They were KIND OF made with High scores & 1 Coin runs in mind.

That doesn't make it bad, I could 1C X, I love it really, one of my most played games, but 3 is an upgrade, I still remember spending all my lunch money on it, skipping school just to reach the huge alien once again, finding all the different paths, and getting mad at that fucking floating head that shot spirit wolves or coyotes or whatever.

MARCO PLAYERS : Probably mashing A to get to the game as fast as possible. This may be the first time they've ever played a Metal Slug game. If a dedicated fan, expect them to be knowledgeable and find all the hidden shit.

ERI PLAYERS: Total waifufags. Most likely total shit at the game and only playing long enough to see Eri's clothes melt off from an acid attack. Unironically uses the Drop Shot.

TARMA PLAYERS: The real deal. Has most likely 1cc'd the game at some point in their life, possibly multiple times. Will not only complete the level, but will have the Metal Slug and every prisoner saved flawlessly. Small possibility they just saw the guy with sunglasses and thought he was cool.

FIO PLAYERS: Waifufags, but more skilled than the Eri player. Has a folder dedicated to rule 34 of Fio and will not hesitate to post it. Hogs all the powerups and will always be found an inch from the boss mashing the grenade button.

I'm not saying 3 is a bad game, I'm just saying that due to that one fucking level lasting so long it makes it worse than X. as a sendoff to the series it's fantastic.

Metal Slug Defense is more like a diet, diet RTS. All you do is click on buttons to build soldiers and they automatically move towards the enemy base

It did allow for some interesting gameplay moments in its challenge stages, when you're given specific units to meet specific objectives.

Metal Slug Attack lets you upgrade units in a few ways, so MSD's challenges aren't viable anymore, since units can change their behavior to some extent.
