I don't see it.

You don't see it, you play it.

It's already the best game of the generation.

Now you know how we felt about Bloodborne, fatass

Fair enough I guess.

>fatass

I'm like 5,10 and 150.

christ go for a jog you lardass

You see those mountains though, you can climb them

Skyward Sword was THAT BAD.

SS just had jank motion controls, everything else was fine.

Hell the Sandship dungeon was more memorable than anything in TP or WW.

Too many mingames and not enough content in the 80% empty "open world", way less than even WW.

You blind nigga

>5'10
When will manlets learn

That you Riley?

Learn what?

>open world
Its not SS fault you are an idiot. Its not an open world.

I give it an 8/10. Nintendo really screwed the ending up for me. To many missed opportunities for some real character development. Instead it always has to boil down to defeating Ganon and I hate that.

It's okay user not everyone has the same opinions.

>skinny fatass

go to the gym faggot

It seems fine, great even.

But so many people who's opinions I respect keep saying it's the best thing ever and I'm starting to feel like I'm in the Matrix or something.

Get me a membership.

does this painting exist without the logo?

the logo ruins it

You're right OP, it's more like a 9.8 - 1/10

nevermind, found it

on topic: i cant wait to emulate this game in the summer. looks neat!

manlets don't get it do they?

I guess I don't.

Guess that's the toll you pay for frequenting reddit. You will never learn.

>frequenting reddit

Does it count if I don't post though.

I have the /r/vita sub on my home tabs because they always have a nice list of games coming out during each month.

Daily reminder Skyward Sword also got 10/10.

jesus christ this fag

you have to go back.

Every time I see this art, I remember that back when it "leaked" we all speculated that Link was gonna be "able to climb things in the game" and laugh a little.

Just seeing how far you would take this.

You really do believe in all this board culture bullshit.

Reevaluate your life man.

It is good no question, but it is definitely not a game I would award a perfect score.

it's funny when manlets get all riled up, they never learn, that's why no one take them seriously.

This is why reviewer scores for Zelda games are usually a fucking mess.
Everyone just spams it with 10/10 and just gloss over technical problems, framerates, padding, 3 hour tutorials, etc.
Then a few months later everyone is like "yeah it was kinda good, I guess".

Three weeks on and the saltyness is still strong.

/v will never recover.

7/10 Jim nailed it with his review.

>vita
>games

I got 110 hours out of it and had a blast the whole time. Nothing felt repetitive or like a grind (120 shrines and all sidequests). Its easily 10/10 for me, but of course, thats going to be subjective.

Fuck 900 Koroks though.

Jim is a contrarian edge lord.

Once CEMU 1.7.4 drops next week and BOTW is fully playable at 1080p30 with all effects working, it's gonna be a shit show of Nintendo tears.

I know right, how dare they to criticize a new console launch and the most anticipated game for more than 2 weeks after release, it's like this board is meant to discuss videogames or something.

What would you say is the worst way to find a korok? I fucking hate the really cryptic ones like "pick up a stick".

I've played about 90 hours so far and I've barely uncovered half the map.

BotW is a special game. Of course, /v has nothing but a bizarrely misplaced hatred for Nintendo, so naturally they won't accept it.

Sorry, for But it works in general, too.

t. 5'9

Yeah good luck with that. It will still run like a fucking mess.

You sure showed those Nintendo fags, didn't you?

>Jim

Koroks are the worst way Nintendo could disguise the fact that their open world is in fact as empty as it gets. It's like saying "hey I know how to fix No Man Sky's emptiness! lets hide this fuckers all over the place so fanboys won't feel like they got scammed".

>Yeah good luck with that. It will still run like a fucking mess.
It already runs just as well as the Switch with a good CPU.

Every open-world game has shit like Koroks. At least Korok Seeds have an actual purpose.

It already runs at 15-20 outside on my PC on the old version, but collision, water and runes are broken.
The new one has all these fixed and runs at around 20-25 outside with a few dips so it's just like the real thing.

It's not even a big stretch to have it run better than the real hardware in a few weeks.

>O boy this map is huge i sure cant wait to go exploring!
>shrine
>shrine
>korok seed
>shrine
>korok seed
>korok seed
>korok seed
>shrine
>shrine

Wow! It truly felt like I was venturing out into the unknown! Just like a real adventure!

You don't have to find the Koroks. You don't have to explore. You don't have to do anything. That's the beauty of the game - you can do whatever the fuck you want.

The game only tells you one thing - beat the bad guy. That's it. How you go about doing that is entirely up to the player. And you don't even have to do that if you don't want to. Finding Koroks is meaningful.

Okay Sup Forums, I want you to convince me why this game is a 10/10, why it deserves completely immunity to criticism, and why all naysayers aren't allowed to complain about it. But keep this in mind:

>Sup Forums specifically swore that amiibos were designed to prevent nickel and diming with DLC, yet BOTW not only has tons of content locked behind amiibos, but an additional season pass whose contents can't be purchased separetely
>there is no reason why they couldn't add in a hard mode later for free, instead of charging top dollar. Some of us HATED the new Zelda becuase it's disgustingly casual, and we wanted a new challenge
>there is no reason why the game doesn't let me remap controls. I should be allowed to use any control scheme that I damn well please
>30 FPS with drops is vomit inducing in this day and age. Nintendo, on their own hardware, with their own budget, and without needing to answer to any outside third parties, should not have had a single issue making this game run more stable
>Ganon should be the hardest boss in the game. There is absolutely no reason why he's weaker than even a miniboss like a Lynel

This makes the game a 4/10 at best for me. I would never even think of considering it GOTY, let alone GOAT. But please, tell me why none of these things should be considered in that decision.

Honestly if I was married to that soon-to-be-bedridden tumblrite I'd let her fuck black dudes so I wouldn't have to do it.

You forgot a few things:

>towers
>settlements
>enemy camps
>great fairies
>treasure
>npcs
>immersive/cool locations

>You don't have to do anything.
>Implying there's anything to do other than killing the same enemies to collect shit you don't even want in the first place.

Shit is boring as fuck.

>It already runs just as well as the Switch with a good CPU.

No it fucking doesn't. It's glitched out the ass, half the fucking shrines are unplayable, physics are shot to fuck and the frame rate is hilarious.

Also, are you honestly suggesting that needing a $1000+ PC to run the fucking thing is some kind of win over just buying the fucking game?

Look no game is a 10/10 and without flaws so I don't know who you are replying to

Picking up rocks that arent obvious at all, unlike the ones at the tops of mountains.

Honestly, for me, the problem is just the sheer amount of them. The map is so packed full of shrines and sidequests that I had to dedicate 2 weeks of my life minus work just to clear everything else lol. No way in Hell I have time for all the mini-puzzles too.

It gives something to do for people that dont want to stop playing though, I guess

Exploring BotW is the most fun I've had exploring in an open-world game. Period. It has made actual exploring without rewards fun.

By "runs" I assumed you meant performance. 1.7.4 is fixing all the "glitches". As far as frame rate, it runs just as well as the Switch with a good CPU.

>1000$+
You idiots always say that and it's never true. A good CPU is 200-300. You don't need a good gpu.

Breath of the Wild is a 6/10
slantmagazine.com/games/review/the-legend-of-zelda-breath-of-the-wild

>Picking up rocks that arent obvious at all
They're only under rocks that stick out in my experience.

>Not enjoying puzzles just because theyre fun

Nigga, why did you even bother playing a Zelda game? Shrines are the best part of BOTW

Do shrines. Explore. Collect treasure. Do quests. Do the story. Kill real enemies that have good shit.

I used to hate the stone patterns koroks until I realized looking for a rock to complete them is as easy as using stasis to quickly locate it.

I love the shrines, they remind me of Portal.

>Do shrines.
Ubisoft towers are the worst it could happen to a Zelda game, repetitive excuses for lack of actual dungeons.
>Explore.
Explore the vast emptiness of a massive Open World filled with funny little dude called Koroks and the same 10 enemies found in enemy camps.
>Collect treasure.
This is the best aspect of the game, too bad I don't get to keep that cool looking weapon for more than a one two swings. Better avoid combat at all cost! am I right.
>Do quests.
You got me there, quests are cool, 7/10 game so far.
>Do the story.
Story isn't bad, but isn't as good as it should've been. Still 7/10.
>Kill real enemies that have good shit.
Already did, once you get a hold in deep combat it starts to get old pretty fast, I preffer doing other shit, I'm not saying enemies are bad or boring but... it isn't the focus of the game to begin with.

7/10... 7.5/10 max
Not a bad game, not the second comming of allah. Would brag I paid 360 dlls for my zelda machine tho.

Your post confuses me. You say you played the game but equate towers with shrines and parroted Jim Sterling. You also over-exaggerate the durability, anyone who has good gear knows your gear lasts a good twenty swings before breaking.

>>Do shrines
>Ubisoft towers...
????

What do you mean? Its a new Zelda dude

Come on

Dude

>dude, it's the latest installment in the normie core garbage that every fair weather fan says they enjoy
>it's got alot of high scores so that means its good

Post discarded!

>it's an user takes sarcasm seriously episode
