Crysis, Unturned, and just about any press-F-to-tilt-gun game feature about the most seamless weapon customization around. Unturned is notable for being able to remove iron sights from most of the rifles, which is a pretty useless feature -- but you can presumably scrap your iron sights in order to salvage enough scrap metal to repair a gun in a pinch.

Stalker CS and CoP + CoC have quite a bit of weapon customization. It's usually just +5% reliability sort of fare, but you'll occasionally get to swap calibers and add dovetail mounts for firearms that normally wouldn't have them.

Deus Ex games sort of started the weapon customization fad. Again, they're mostly confined to +accuracy +ammo-capacity mods. System Shock 2 had fairly rigid, but otherwise influential (especially regarding the grenade launcher) weapon upgrading.

The you-can-take-the-wooden-grips-off-your-PM-and-put-on-bakelite-grips game is Escape from Tarkov, and it too is a press-F-to-tilt-gun type of game, except the guns sort of look like seeding dandelions with how many things you can put on/take off.

7.62 High Calibre/Hard Life is notable for having a wide selection of firearms, especially when you involve mods. The game is very much unstable when you do this, but it also allows a fairly robust gunfight model that allows its wide assortment of attachments to have actual effect. It's also got all sorts of ammo types. It's notable for the fact that you can get a Thompson Contender and Encore (in a mod), as well as a full assortment of different barrels.

This. BF4 is gunporn maximus. All it needs is the intro for black.

Is there a character with better DPS than Bandit?

Only the best

RHS mod for Arma lets you change optics, barrel attachments, flashlights/lasers, and grips. And there's many different types of ammo to use, but I'm not sure how much of a difference they make. I always wish that game had more realistic reloading animations/mechanics, something like RO2.

Game?

Escape From Tarkov

Not really? You can do a lot of customization, but the pool of guns is small and are over exposed in games. You'll never see a Rheinmetall MG3 or a Stechkin APS in a BF, I'm surprised they never had any Kimber or Grizzly 1911s

Blacklight was fun, it's too bad they couldn't save it.

>wanting Kimber 1911s

Twitch, but the FAMAS has shit recoil.

>that god tier aesthetic
>that badass dubstep beat that played in the post match screen
>had titans before titanfall
What the fuck went wrong?

Rainbow Six Vegas 1 & 2 have decent customization, but it extends into operator customization too so it's fucking awesome.

but user
this is a bread for customizable weapons
not for video games only you played

They never did anything with it. The last big patch (the one that ended the "drought") only brought the game in line with the PS4 version and fucked up the feel of pretty much everything. I don't think the dev team is even big enough to even expand on it anymore.

P2W I think, unless you decided to grind a while for most things.

Also there was some blonde bitch who you could buy and I always wanted to fug her.

Ghost Recon: Future Soldier

Is Mira's vector not the gun with the highest dps? I figure it or the machine pistols would be the highest.

That game startedout so damn good

Don't forget the arsenal overhaul mod for cop/coc
Gave me a fuckin boner

Ghost Warrior 3 drops this month and will have extreme gun customization. Game's solid as fuck.

t. Played the beta for three or four days.

If anyone here is a /k/ tier autist and can answer this question for me you will get a probably mislabeled ak variant
Is Insurgency good in terms of gunplay? I got it for a buck a bit earlier and was hesitating on installing it since I have a gigantic backlog

There is another slav magic game like 7.62, I have been trying to remember for ages. The mechanics are similiar and it isnt silent storm... i feel like it has 'men' or 'survivor' or something in the title. You wouldnt happen to know would you user? It would ease my suffering.

See all that shit has in that screenshot? Five loadouts, all having a different weapon, and each weapon having different attachments?

DudeBro79 either paid out the ass to get that shit, or played it damn near 24/7

Blacklight was fun as fuck but holy jesus if you wanted good guns you had to work at it.

Fallout 4 has plenty of options for customizing your weapons. You should buy a copy along with a season pass

Hm...I'll keep my eye on it. What's so special about it?

You're not kidding. I played that game for about a week a long time ago, and I had a handful of parts, and a handful of rental pieces, and as far as I'm concerned, I didn't have the rental pieces.

Boiling Point?

I wouldn't call it special.

There's tons of weapons and customization. Bullet types and shit. Knives. You got a drone to scout shit.

Game seems challenging. Open world meme. Solid graphics. Decent performance.

$49.99 in Canada, including extra shit. I think.

Seems like a decent deal. Beta was enjoyable.

It's got deadzone-aiming with is always great, attachment system that's balanced pretty well, and iron sights that are actually a viable option over optics. Buckshot is actually useful past 20 feet which is great. Down side is that there's no ballistics at all. That's straight up an engine limitation of Source though. A lot of the maps are small enough that it's not really an issue.

TLDR; best gunplay I've seen in a Source game.

Thanks, have an AK-47

That's a fucking MP7, retard.

Don't call people that.

Looks like a VEPR in .45 Colt to me.

it's clearly a FAMAS

It's a DEAGLE brand FAMAS you dips.

That's obviously an M16 you fucking cucks.

Uh, no, sweetie. It's a railgun.

it's a modified SPAS15 you dumbasses

How's the stealth gameplay?

You can go in guns blazing or use stealth.

Whole game's built around that. Stealth seems unforgiving, which is good.

Satisfying to sneak in, scout with your drone, tag targets, and snipe faggots.

Guns blazing seems even more challenging. I'm sure the game'll be brutal on the highest setting.

Driving feels solid. Terrain's rough.

I just watched a gameplay vid, and it looks surprisingly decent. Did you try the multiplayer at all?

I don't think there is multiplayer.

Is there? Beta was singleplayer.

I dunno, I saw something about multiplayer maps. Usually it's just sorta tacked on though. I won't get my hopes up.

Yeah. I wouldn't get my hopes up.

I doubt they can deliver a good multiplayer experience.

It's fuckin' amazing how far they've come, though. First two Ghost Warrior games aren't even worth playing.

you can take off the iron sights (and put it on a different gun if you want) but you can't scrap them unless they recently changed that. Plus since the graphics are all low poly models and whatnot you'd just be aiming with a big block on your screen

Not him that keeps asking, but I'm shocked how solid 3 looks, considering the other two looked like garbageware.

It's pretty crazy. Ghost Warrior is absolute garbage. Ghost Warrior 2 is mediocre. Ghost Warrior 3 looks solid.

At this rate, Ghost Warrior 4 will be a 10/10. lmao.

>First two Ghost Warrior games aren't even worth playing

yeah that's why this game wasn't on my radar at all. I've liked what I've seen so far, with the exception of some immersion breaking stuff. Like, driving at night with your headlights on into a military base doesn't seem to generate any response from the enemy.

He also doesn't physically switch the car radio off.

I noticed small shit like that in the beta.

Overall it was great, though.

The fact that it's so cheap on Steam is what made me bite. Compared to every other publisher, they should be charging more.

well thanks for the info user. i'm actually looking forward to something. i'm going to sleep, have a good night.

No problem. Sleep tight.

Crysis is pretty good in this regard

Payday 2

Is it? I don't remember Crysis having good gun customization. Just basic shit.

You talking about the sequels?

If you signed up for Raptr, it gave you eight hundred million billion permed parts a day

I just picked a particular loadout I wanted to play, rented the parts, paid for it in like an hour, everything after that was profit and I could perm things if I wanted (which was totally pointless)

...

Holy shit man, you're really exaggerating. Sure I played the game for about 2 hours a day for a year to get those parts, and I payed like $10 for the extra loadout slots.

There were a shitload of giveaways during the time I played, and it's apparently easier in the current version despite making the retarded decision to make all of the parts receiver-exclusive. (so you have to buy the same scope again for every different base gun you own, for example).

In any case, the game was good enough to warrant me playing that long for all the unlocks I had, that and the assault rifle you started with was one of the best guns in the game.

Just so you know, those items just improve the weapon's stat numbers. You don't actually get a double-barreled handgun with six laser scopes in-game.

Then what's the fucking point?

i just want a third person shooter (with pvp) with a shitload of character / gun customization that isn't dogshit.

p.s. everyone who helped make The Division needs to be shot into the fucking moon.

I'm genuinely interested in how this will turn out.

This makes me moist... but I've been burnt before
