What does Sup Forums think of The Forest?
I personally think its one of the best Early Access games out there because devs have consistant updates, and the game is VERY polished in my opinion, its my perfect "bear grills horror movie" game.
What does Sup Forums think of The Forest?
I like the facet that there's actually a countdown on the main menu telling you when the next update releases
I've been getting back into it. Other than some autistic people online, its pretty cool
Fact*
>personally think its one of the best Early Access games out ther
It's still on early access?
doesn't that proved how shitty this game is?
>doesn't that proved how shitty this game is?
Why are the shitposters always the ESLs with broken English?
Early access games never release now.
Releasing the game goes against the business model
Tried it way back when it first came out in early access, thought it was okay but lacked things to do to keep you busy for more than a few hours. I check up on it every once in a while via youtubers playing the updates, but it seems like it's basically the same thing it was 2+ years ago. More stuff to build, some new caves and terrain to explore, but I don't see anything that would make me interested in going back to it. Game had promise, but I feel like the devs don't have a solid idea of what direction to take it in.
game is way too spooky for me to play solo and I dont have anyone to play with
I've never played one of these survival games, is this one a good one to try? Also the new Battlegrounds one looks cool, though I'm sure it's a very different experience.
My friends and I can't play this anymore because three of them have a now long running argument about it. One person was cooking food on the fire and another was cooking a leg, and the person intending to eat the food ate the leg by accident. This angered the leg-burner as he wanted to burn it down to bones to make a weapon with. They started murdering each other over it and to this day any time we play it will devolve into killing each other because of the sides taken in that argument. Also, it's a bit of a logging camp simulator until you have a nice base set up.
Those battlegrounds survival games are very different. They are basically just third person shooters with really really big maps.
The best survival game is Subnautica. The Forest is cool too, but somewhat less interesting.
>Sony makes a trailer saying it's coming to PS4 3 years ago
>Never released
>The developers don't even acknowledge the console port on the games website or FAQ
It was the same year they promised a bunch of other shit that never saw the light of day on PS4 like H1Z1 & Dayz. They sold the PS4 on LIES.
i got this and played it a year ago or so and it was waaaaay to easy. cannibals would always bug out and never really attack my place, and there basically isnt shit to do once you get your base up.
Subnautica really needs some performance and bug fixing updates.
I'm glad that it was delayed until september recently
Enemy actions have been updated since then. Alot has been updated since then
I agree, the performance is fucking horrid in Subnautica.
Also, Cyclops dock when?
I always liked that the player model was a fat mexican
he can carry two logs on one shoulder, he's got to be at least somewhat fit
can you win at it yet? I had a lot of fun dicking around with friends but now that enemies are infinite I need another way to win other then complete genocide
That is really cool.
Fuck off shill
Thanks, you've convinced me to purchase this excellent experience AVAILABLE NOW in early access on steam. I love how this game is going viral right now so lots of people are talking about it on popular message boards such as this one.
they're currently making the cyclops useful by adding multiple speeds, sonar, more cameras, and an energy shield to protect it, since it's going to be destructible soon
also notes in the trello indicate that they're working on the performance a little bit at a time. They're tackling environment seams now
