It was clunkier than Black Ops and had terrible weapons with obvious favoritism. Killstreaks sucked, maps sucked, it started the rapid downfall.

Aside from the obvious faggots that bitch and whine MUH SAME GAME STOP BUYING YOU KILL DUH GAME INDUSTRY REEEEE, it was pretty bland. Story was weak and the multiplayer was boring. Killstreaks, weapons, etc. were not fun. CoD games are fun, and by far one of the, if not the, most polished shooters out there. This felt like a DLC. Which is ironic, yeah. But it really offered nothing to the table.

The main problem is the e-celeb cancer convinced children that Battlefield is the superior game. And it was. Key word was. Ever since this massive influx of CoD refugees, BF went to utter dog shit. DICE casualized the crap out of it to the point that it has become an unbalanced and larger version of CoD. BF1 is the latest example. True BF fans who have been around know this. BF1 is without a doubt the shittiest BF to date. No debate. I give it two more Battlefield games before normies wake up and realize it too.

And then they'll flock back to CoD or a new FPS. And thus the cycle continues.

Because the maps were hot garbage, most way too big for 6v6 CoD, with 9000 different flank routes, that mixed with the absolutely abysmal spawn system meant you get shot in the back fucking constantly. Players in this game also played like ultra faggot cowards, laying in spawns and bushes camping with thermal site LMG's, seriously, the most limp wristed pussy community in any CoD game.

Game was also fucking ugly as sin, looked a generation behind on PS4/Bone/PC, with dull washed out colors. And to top it off, the killstreaks were weak as fuck, and not rewarding what so ever. Treyarch is the only dev who knows how to make worthwhile streaks anymore apparently.

The only good thing this game added was the slide, other than that, it was a diarrhea dog shit sundae. New Infinity Ward are a bunch of fucking amateurs.

Agree with everything you said about the BF series. It kills me to think of what it's become. I didn't play much of BC2, which I know a lot of people credit as the beginning of the end, but it's staggering how shitty it's become in succession between 3, 4, and 1.

Have you played it? I played every single COD campaign and IW's campaign is the best. I've actually bothered to finish it on veteran cause it was that fun.

Maybe not the best, but definitely one of the best. Neck to neck with Black Ops 1. Even more surprising is that there was no love side plot shoved in between Reyes and Salt. So they didn't bother with "can love bloom on the galactic battlefield" shit.

Only CoD games I've played are Black Ops 1, Ghosts, and Black Ops 3.

Black Ops 1 Campaign was good as shit, wasn't over complicated and has good replay atmosphere.

Ghosts campaign wasn't as good but was still fairly fun. I still go and play the baseball stadium or the office skyscraper missions occasionally, comfy atmosphere. (Did they actually continue the storyline of that in one of the other games or will we just be left hanging for eternity about whether or not the guy escapes? Not that it was really that engaging.)

I haven't even finished BO3's campaign. It easily has the most gameplay content out of the three but it just feels absolutely soulless. Like a huge tech demo.
