>a father being protective of his daughter or a story about a father and a daughter is something Sup Forums came up with

shit bait

it wouldn't happend if they made a game rather than interactive movie

Memes aside why is Hollywood so fucking shit?

Everything now is either a sequel or a remake or a reboot or something based on something from another form of media

>OUR

It's true. When I watched it, that's the first thing that came to mind.

Honestly TLoU feels like generic Hollywood schlock.

Because movies are terrible period. I'd rather have a bunch of mini series than a movie.

more like LOLIwood, amirite?

>i am ok with this

>super cool badass kids

I hate this in every movie, it's so cringe

Movies are made to make a profit. People don't like to gamble with millions of dollars. Using an established franchise is a safer bet than creating a new IP.

ENDLESS
TRAAAAAAAAASH

>video games invented daughters

wolverine can't fuck die this movie was retarded

Yes. Because the premise for the last of us wasn't totally inspired by a movie.

>cross continental rode trip of (adoptive) father and daughter where she is wanted by a group and they try to take her by force threatening you with death because she has special genes
im not saying its a copy but its more than jsu tthat

old movie trope.

Last of Us didn't come up with it either.

Who cares? Logan did a better job with the idea than The Last of Us.

>Neil Cuckmann stealing the plot of TLoU from Children of Men is """""our""""" ideas

Both industries are run by Jews, user.

What?

what what?

>Stealing from TLoU
And Tomb Raider is stealing ideas from Uncharted, right? Fucking sonybroniggers.

People have always copied the mode of the successful. Pretty sure the majority of movies that have ever been made before 1990 were westerns.

The novel Children of Men is quite different from the movie, Julianne Moore's character is kinda just one part of the book's Julian, feels like the movie wanted to hurt Theo much more than the book did.

Joel doesn't die in TLOU does he?

>wolverine
>an absolute madman that can heal from sick wounds
>lol let's make movies where he can't do that
Why was the wolverine and logan made again?

What a shitty movie.

Profit is the only thing that matters now. Even consumers are judging a films merit by how much it makes at the box office now.

Also TLOU ripped off The Road.

And we still steal Hollywood ideas so it balances out.

Because sad shit man, they at least tried to explain his not-healing as a result of the adamantium. It apparently seemed like a good idea to make a sad movie about trying to take care of an old man with brain problems at the end of his rope, developing a relationship with a daughter you never knew you had, while slowly dying from cancer, and mixing in rage and violence.

What better setting than the X-Men?

The Road, Children of Men, probably a bunch of other less popular stuff.

I cried during this scene.

>Baby just been born
Soldiers break in, one points the gun at the woman.
>You can see in his eyes when the realisation hits.

This movie makes me cry like a little bitch.

Grow a pear.

Where is my Masters of Doom movie, Hollywood?

i've already got three
