There's no much to do after you finish once or twice besides autistically farming for best possible gear you don't even need.
It was a good game, had fun for 110+ hours but it has no way the staying power of soulsborne titles.

Only From Software can make good Souls games, all other "Souls-like" games have repeatedly proven to suck cock and should be instantly ignored.

It's good but it's ultimately just a clone of something else, it had good sales but that's it.

You never get the fanbase like Dark souls has because it was first, same as wow is still king of the mmorpg genre and every shitty clone that came after it failed (even if some were decent).

Salt and Sanctuary is actually good

Loved it but it doesn't have right now the same replay value as souls since there are only 5 weapons and no stat requirements for any of them. And combining cheap spells with living weapon (not even spamming eternal living weapon) or even plain git gud play - since there are so few enemies it's not hard at all to learn them all thoroughly - means suboptimal builds aren't even anything to blink at (plus you can respec endlessly anyway). Basically they did so good a job making it open to easy player experimentation that they shot themselves in the foot by severely reducing replay motivation.

You have several options for cinematic / action modes that either make the game look good or move fast without drops.

I put like 163 hours into it or something. I just got bored of grinding, I guess. Waiting for the DLCs.

probably because it was too hard. yes, people are not gud it is weird. Those who put up with it seem to have enjoyed it, but it started off way too hard too soon(at least in the demo). A lot of people probably started it, and dropped it pretty quickly. At least that's what I got from the people talking about it after launch. looking at the achievement percentages would be a good indicator. Personally I played the demo a bit and dropped it, it just wasn't all that interesting to me and all the weapons were kinda boring

Its not a bad game, but I hate that its mission structured. In Souls games you would at least progress continually through an open world(though kinda linear with some sidetracking)

I just rented it yesterday, and so far I'm enjoying it a lot and I'm not even a soulfag. Only downside I'm having is I also rented ME:A on the xbone, and I hate having to go back and forth between consoles.

Blighttown is pretty shit, if you get cursed your health bar gets cut in half and if you didnt happen to read the item description of every item in every vendor in the game you would have NO FUCKING IDEA where to go or what to get to get it fixed without having to look it up, Lost Izileth and the bed of chaos were so terrible that from soft apologized for them, everything good about the level design falls flat on its face after Anor Londo, the controls and responsiveness of the game are complete shit and clunky as hell compared to 2, there is very little veriety in builds weapons and armor,

It was a fun game and I enjoyed playing it. I beat it and did some NG+ content. There is DLC to look forward to that I may play in the future.
