Toukiden 2

Wah! Hah! Hah!

Why is she so cute!?

Also Naginata master race

This is probably the only game where the AI teammates make me feel like the least useful person on the team.
Seriously I can't even tell if I'm doing optimal damage with my bow or if it's just my teammates curb stomping the monster for me.

WHAT IS THE BEST SWORD & BOARD MITAMA?

If you do nothing and the results are the same, you are probably useless.

Yeah I'm too scared to play online, since I'd such an albatross to the team.

The AI is way more competent than the shitters I've seen online. For a game as easy as Toukiden it's fucking embarrassing watching people die to a punch that takes five hundred frames of wind up animation.

So i've noticed there's some parts of the map that drains all your focus and the exposition meter fills much faster. Is there a way to purify those places or at least get your focus back? Can't even fight shit there.

post waifus

so this is the new FOTM? will it last longer than GE2 or berseria?

>Toukiden 2 sold out on Best Buy

Well, there goes my "wait until it's $19.99" plan

This isn't going to be another Shantae Half-Genie Hero situation is it?

I need a voice clip of that laugh

Got the PC version.

>tfw no 1440p support

Also what region do I set it for co-op?

What's the appeal of MH and MH clones?
>kill monster
>farm materials for weapons and armor
>kill monster
>repeat.

Chain Whip is fun.

>kill monster

this part

Some people like loot grind games.

I don't question them for the same reason I don't question people who enjoy Musou games.

Berseria was only FOTM because it was slightly less shit than Zestiria.

No idea about Gods Eater.

This is hardly FOTM because not even 1% of the board is even playing. There's not even a fucking /vg/ general.

S&S Masterrace reporting in
This game is meant to be played offline. Online just ruins the experience

Just kidding.

How do I grind mitamas?

What's your favorite genre of game, then?

>Zestiria
Is good.

You don't understand. Resonance of Fate is grinding. skyrim is grinding. Toukiden is fun.

I already know you'll shitpost about how CoD is the same thing even though it's not so fuck off, autist.

What's the best battle style for gauntlets?

Monk

Get into their face and cave it in.

Yeah, I know. I was talking about the mitama.

I like fighting monsters, what's so hard to understand about that? They dangle the carrot that is better armor and weapons in my face and you're damn right I'm gonna chase it until the next one comes out because the thrill of the hunt is enough reward for me.

downloading the game

what's the most fun weapons?

See

Who spin2win here?

gauntlets and knives

Me! Spears are the master race!

Your needle on a stick is shit, naginata is the better choice.

Thanks, user.

How old is she? Why does she look like a loli?

So what nerfs to the longsword happened? I don't see anyone using them anymore. Is it just autists raging that it got a slight damage Nerf like the rifle or is it actually bad?

There is one actually, it's discussed on /eagg/ since it's a Koei-Tecmo game.

Personally, Kusarigama, SnS and Whip. I can't tell you what you're going to have fun with though.

The wiki said 33

What's the top tier weapon? Also, since I'm primarily a Katana user, am I doing it right by using square-square-triangle-dodge-repeat instead of a seven hit combo?

33. Check the encyclopedia, user.

Just started, what NPCs should I take with me?

Professor, Benizuki, Homura/Gwen.

The Professor and only the Professor. Listen to her sweet Wa haha's as you slice up Oni together. Its simply magical.

This

Does dialogue do anything except increase relationships?

Certain dialogue options will increase your relationships with NPCs, yeah. I heard that picking humorous/crude options like making fun of Yakumo's hair will decrease it, but I haven't tested it myself.

If I want a ranged weapon option, Longbow or Rifle?

Can almost make a nice 500 damage rifle from the quadnigga

Anyone want a Toukiden 2 trainer?

eh, collecting shit is the point of the game

Downloading now.

I can't wait to get comfy and kill monsters with my good friends on Sup Forums, I love video games!

sure

If I didn't play the first can I jump right in or should I play the first?

Jump right in. It's a better game in every respect and more people will be playing.

Yes

pc?

who here Naginata master race?

I tried bow and sword but felt they were so fucking slow after going through the Naginata, nothing else is good enough...

jump right in, It's bigger and better. And also if you're on PC the first game port sucked, the second is an actually decent port coming from koei.

I'd probably grab it on Vita (and/or PS4).

Your waifu a cute.

So which weapon style is Sup Forums using??

Rifle

Anyone had luck with PS4 Controller? been intending to get on this shit but heard only X1/360 gamepads have native support.

Is this game any harder than the first? Do the monsters have some actual strategy to them now?

I enjoyed the first game but didnt get into Kiwami because even solo the game isnt particularly hard for the most part.
You dont really need to prep for different situations like you do in MH. Just craft a build or two and go to town.

Is it the same still? Im going to have to wait for a sale anyway.

Naginata of course, beast weaponfu.

T-T-Thanks...

...

I'm in chapter 3 right now and the difficulty of the monster is noticeable now. Also i cant say this for certain but during a run of Ruins i did just now some monster use attack that i never did saw they use before. Do they jump in difficulty after a certain event or something?

Isn't finding a Mitama build like the same as MH prep?

It's still the same as the first game.

Are the multipurpose rocks finite or are you able to eventually get as many as you want?

I wasted a bunch of them already.

I finally realized why I like Hakase so much. She's just a less bitchy Kokonoe

I want Manazuru to whisper lewd things to my ear while she crushes my balls with her hand.

Just finished the story, if they tried to pull a twist that was dumb professor is the only character without a name, i wonder whose shiki daughter is

manazuru

>want to use rifle for big dick deeps

>can't feel it

guess im stuck with gauntlets

Do I need to play the first one to enjoy the second?

Am I going to miss out on character backstory?

is it 21:9 support?

Someone asked this literally 22 post ago, just scroll up.

Just take your favorite waifu/husbando.

>immediately on the defensive because he realizes his favorite genre can be dissected the same way.
Come on user, at least entertain us instead of shutting down the chance to shit all over your stupidity.

What's the deal with this cave? why does the miasma level rise so quickly here?

You gotta purifiy all the stones in the area and then the miasma level will drop to purple.

It's pretty dumb desu.

I'm surprised that it sold out. You know this game is doing well when it sells out from a big retailer chain within the first week.

Fug, I just want to do the Tomoe Gozen quest. I guess that's not happening now.

Seems like theres an area like that in every Age but the one in the age of peace literally has nothing in it aside from a crest.

Thanks Koei.

or a half-a-dozen copies were distributed to their warehouses, and they'll never get restocked, which is very likely the case.

Looks like I already purified all the stones here or am I missing something?

you need to go east of thundersnow plains

Check that path east of Thundersnow Plains

here

If Mitama are the best way to customize/play the game, why do you need better materials? Improve damage and defense? Or is there anything else?

Also how's the multiplayer? I'm taking my time and enjoying the story/open world.

You need them to make weapons and armor to improve damage and defense

Fug, I completely missed the one in grand tunnel. Thanks user.

Are the infinite ruins missions the best way to get the mitama that drop from random oni?

I remember the first game having a similar sort of surivial mission that you could get tons of mitama from but the drop rate seems lower in this one.

Oh shit I just broke into a little girl's room and kidnapped her. I think I'm going to jail

What the fuck does collecting the little white things in each of the zones do? I only got all of them in the forest but missing a bunch in the next like 4 zones and I can't be assed to run around and look for them if they aren't worth shit.

it reveals the entire map. If you collect them all, you get an achievement

Can guns be good?
Whats ideal bullet loading types?

TOO MANY FUCKING HAIR

Where's Hime-Cut?

Guns are the best.

t. Oda Nobunaga mitama

That's all it does? You practically have all the map uncovered by the time you find all of them in a zone, even sooner if you run by some.

yup
