The man can barely cover an option menu, let alone a game. He just does early impressions because he can't formulate a thought beyond a direct reaction but isn't interesting enough for a Let's Play.

Nigger the voice acting this game is HORRIBLE. None of the characters sound emotionally invested at all, especially the main siblings. They fucking lifeless husks. Also most of the squadmates have no interesting backstories/are retreaded ground. Squadmates from the previous games had defining features that made you care about them in some way.

Totally agree, though I'm not clicking on a TerminalBiscuit video. The game is fun and that's what matters. It's rough around the edges in some aspects to be sure, but so were the previous games.

Best the series has ever been, hands down. Very good and fun combat.

Hit or miss. Some great standouts like Vetra, Drack and Jaal, and some turds like PeePoo, Liam and Cora. But every ME game had some good characters and some shitty characters (see Jacob, Miranda, Kaiden etc)

Kinda bland, but a nice laid-back "let's find a new home" story is a welcome departure from "PLEASE MR SHEPARD-JESUS SAVE DA YOONIVERSE FROM DA REAPERZ AAAAAAA"

Menus can be a little frustrating.

The elephant in the room. Many human NPCs do suffer from freakishly bad animations but after 20+ hours with the game it's hardly across the board. Most aliens are animated very well, and many human characters are pretty good too. It seems only certain human characters suffer from this.
>Exploration
Planets are lots of fun to explore, Nomad drives great. Loot is pretty decent and actually useful unlike many open world games where the loot will always be worse than your current items (Witcher 3, Skyrim etc)
>Soundtrack
Not as good as ME2 but still pretty good.

Overall I think it's better than ME3 but not as good as 2. It does a lot of things right while stumbling in other places but it isn't enough to ruin a fun experience. 75/100 for me.

Im actually pretty disappointed from this one. I was hoping things would be bleak at the start and get better. His Battlestar Galactica statement was something exactly as I was hoping for. I wasnt expecting it but I was hoping for it.

Not even remotely surprised and pretty disappointing. While I usually play a good character, I play a Humanity First good character. Something tells me this game wont let me do that.

I think i've read and watched roughly 10 Andromeda reviews and they all just criticised the general quality of the writing without ever going into detail why they disliked it with TB being the first to give examples what and why it sucks. I have no idea why tho, at least the 5s and 6s should have a couple examples to list.

Ive only been glancing at the reviews. I wont look into this game heavily until GotD presented by Dorritos is released with all DLC for like 20
