If you like cyborg games you can try out a variety of them today.

Deus Ex, Blacklight Retribution, Hawken, Metal Gear Rising.

Some of them are good, others need work, but to really make a quality GitS game, it has to be hardboiled which is something a lot of people don't get. They always make the story operatic or sensational, when you essentially watch GitS for ghosts, vacillation and whispers.
