Nier is my current goty, but I've already imported Persona 5 and I know it's exactly what I want so that will be a strong contender.

As for normalfags, I imagine Horizon has the best chance so far.

Nier is to niche to win GotY but it might win best RPG or action game.

Horizon will probably win best PS4 Exlusive.

I disagree with anons saying HZD will be locked at 2nd highest. BOTW is locked as GOTD but HZD has competition from Nier, Mario, RDR2 if it even comes out this year, Xenoblade 2 if it releases, and more. It isn't unique enough to outcompete those titles.

I know Nioh won't win any awards, but it's my GOTY easily so far.

I think Odyssey actually has a higher chance than BotW. The trailer is now over 18 million views literally getting a million views a week. The mainstream appeal on that game is going to be massive. It's also a lot harder to criticize Mario games than Zelda because no one else does platformers.
