you faggots can't even start a normal ass thread without memeing it the fuck up can you?
Is Jho in XX? I missed him in Generations.
memes and shitposting are the only way a thread on Sup Forums will ever get attention
except it's monster-fucking-hunter and it doesn't need any sort of retarded OP to get attention. Hell, the only kinds of threads that need blatant bait to ever take off are barely known indie games or assorted freewares
MH is in desperate need of a new OH FUCK monster
What? Are you suffering brain damage? Yeah Jho is in Gen and XX.
What about Jho with slime.
someone tell me how to get good with bows in generations. How does the extra shot fired after a regular one stack up against common shots? I know how much % damage I'm doing with levels 1-3, but I can't find anything about the extra shot's properties. Is it a waste to fire an extra shot if I'm using a coating?
How about a flying Jho?
Only if Jho has a jetpack.
Don't worry, I got dis.
>not "Local Jho Eats Everything"
Exactly what I was thinking.
Or maybe like a stealth bomber sort of monster?
I feel like Seregios and Gore both could've been this, but they were instead used as story enemies.
Ninja jho that eats items?
>Eats items
>Gypceros + Jho fusion monster
Now we're going too far, user.
No user, a cloaking, item eating (gets effects of item), flying jho with laser beams on it's frickin head is going to far.
What have the guild researchers done?
>We will never get a game taking place during the Ancient Civilization where we can fight against research experiments gone rogue, culminating in a battle against the Equal Dragon Weapon after it goes berserk during a deployment.
Feels fucking bad, man.
>tfw shit players keep flocking to my rooms in order to ruin any quest I try to complete
We need a sexy monster that seduces the main hunt into following it around and being its bodyguard
If only. Imagine all the high tech weapons they had. Not just Ballistas and dragonators. Like Khezu railguns and guided Astalos missiles.
That shit would be a blast.
Although keep in mind that would be easily the most "anime" Monster Hunter to date, and I know there are people who have been complaining about MH going in that sort of stylistic direction in terms of gameplay mechanics. I'm okay with it, personally. I run Aerial Swaxe in MHG and have a shitload of fun with it. But I get why some people aren't a fan of those changes, especially since I was a die-hard GS hunter until 4U, where I fell in love with CB. Which is why it's good that they leave the vanilla options in there, too.
So... A Jho in drag?
That's a penis
Yeah, that's the problem though. How do show how badass the AC were without fucking with the formula?
I ran GS till freedom unite and started maining HH.
HH for life.
I was very heavily considering going with HH for Gen. I ended up going with Swaxe because I think it fits my playstyle better and I like cutting tails, but I'd love to give HH a real run.
Maybe when they inevitably announce MH5 on the Switch, that will be my time. XX carries over your data from X, right? So I might as well just keep using Swaxe since I'm already built for it when that comes around.
Yes it does. I am excite for MH on the switch. When I play solo I do use LS, SA, and CB a lot, mostly for the tail cutting myself. Online is HH 9 out of 10 times though. I just love all the buffs and stun damage.
>XX carries over your data from X, right?
Yes, it imports pretty much everything
You fucking newfag, it's basically a tradition to start a MH thread with shitposting about its difficulty. OP just decided to take anothr route.
Are there things that don't carry over?
What's a bummer is I'm just not able to put in the time I'd like to in order to make enough high-tier weapons in so many different categories, so I generally just main a single weapon and carry that throughout the game.
Hell, I'm WAAAAY behind in Gen, only just in the last few days being able to sit down and plow through all of LR guild. I beat all of Caravan except things like the battle against the four new flagships a long time ago, but never put the time into getting my HR up.
The only one I have left is Glavenus and then the Urgent before I'm in HR, though. At least I think so. Caravan LR only goes up to HR 3 in Gen, right?
YES
I liked mh when it was simple
just you, your pokepokepokehop and a jho, enjoying a simple flat fight
curse capcom for ruining it with water and hills and GOD FUCKING AWFUL STYLES FUCKING WHYYYY
>he uses the Sonic palico
>jho can now get frenzied
What is arguably the safest town in monster hunter?
I'm well aware shitlicker, but I'd much rather see a full paragraph of pople mock-complaining about "wow dude this is dark souls' dark souls of artificial diffiulty" than "[meme of the month]"
cuck
Yep. Caravan is LR only too. HR is strictly guild. Mostly super easy to solo HR too
If you do all the Villager LR quests you get the
Dont use words you dont understand Sup Forumstard
The one that is on the sky from MH4.
>Are there things that don't carry over?
Your HR, it gets reset to HR8 if it was unlocked before. NA exclusive items will get lost when converting to X, though you won't have that problem if you are waiting for the localization anyways. Not sure if anything else doesn't get imported.
>you get the
Get the what? GET THE WHAT? OH GOD WHAT IS IT?!
From what I understand, G rank is essentially replaced by the Deviant system. Is that accurate? I've only done one fight against Snowcap Lagombi and haven't touched it otherwise. He was fun, by the way
That makes sense. They're bringing back G Rank, right?
Yes, G-Rank is back and village gets highrank and probably some postgame G-Rank quests, though I'm not that far yet.
Bringing para or sleep coating plus bombs helps speed things up.
> Is it a waste to fire an extra shot if I'm using a coating?
Coating is never wasted, just applied differently. For example, spread uses one coating, but can apply that coating multiple times if it hits the same target.
>Get the what? GET THE WHAT? OH GOD WHAT IS IT?!
Some HR marathon quests, one of them gives you a +15 expert headgear
Does anyone have the pasta where the writer triple carts to a Great Jaggi
I was going to say rainbow tint, but you get it for beating the game this time. Ive always done every village quest.
>how to get good with bows in generations
Make the Teostra bow. Use Adept or Guild.
>How does the extra shot fired after a regular one stack up against common shots?
It really just that - an extra shot. If you don't charge up to the last level it's jumps one level in charge. If you do, it's just another max level shot. But, there's an armor skill that gives power shot a 20% boost in damage.
And always stay at the critical distance. You get quite obvious screen shake and brighter particle effects in Gen when you land a shot from the right distance.
You described me.
GS Hunter and I never really get into MH Gen because of those new style.
What I liked in MH was the somewhat realistic world and fight. I definitely won't buy XX and wait for 5.
BTW did you liked under-water fights? I miss them and even if MH4 was nice it missed this variety.
Well it's only my poor opinion.
>pasta
>GS Hunter and I never really get into MH Gen because of those new style.
You're not obligated to use them , you know. And Guild is the best GS style anyway.
Isn't brave pretty decent too?
So how it was in 4U? That's good. I liked having Caravan versions of G-Rank hunts. It made for good practice.
Neat. I'll have to give those a shot.
Yeah you get rainbow tint crazy early in Gen. I was genuinely surprised. I hope they come up with some new type of tint to show off with in the next game. Like a galaxy print or something.
They were a neat idea, and sometimes they did get really fun. But I can't really say I miss them. Although it is a shame that monsters like Gobul are basically pointless without it. I'd be willing to bet we might see it return on a Switch title, due to it having better camera control than the 3DS. I mean I know that game was on WiiU, too, and I played it on there, but I think most people feel like the Switch is far more comfortable.
As for the styles, I like having the options. But sticking with Guild for old-school MH is totally valid, especially with GS.
*blocks your dlc and sells it as a standalone game for $40*
Dunno about the XX styles much. I tried Brave GS in the demo and it is kinda awkward to use. Maybe it'd get some better kill times, who knows.
They've been getting away with this for decades now. DECADES.
>dlc
It's an expansion pack. But yeah, Capcom pulls that shit off all the time with all of their games. It really shouldn't cost that much. Or they should just say "yeah, we're going to make an expanded edition of this game" straight away, so nobody would have to buy the cut version.
The actual DLC are free though.
