If Raiden gets up close he doesn't really need even a second before he turns you into a bunch of pieces though. He can throw out at least 10 slashes per second (or rather, so fast it looks like a single motion) and that's with an inferior body to his current one.
Raiden flipped Excelsus and fought a building sized swordfight with it in bullet time.

Raiden had some ridiculous feats in MGS4 and MGRR. This one isn't really that close, but 2B is a cute.

QTEs are scripted events, they are canon to rising and gameplay plays a part in metal gear canon all the time anyway.
She only lifted it with the help of 9s who used his le hacking to do it, or that's what I've read.
Being larger also makes little difference since they can be of different density. Excelsus weighs at least as much as a WW2 battleship (probably more) due to not having to be less dense then water overall.

And Raiden tanked having its entire weight on top of him without a scratch or sign of being pressured, this was while he threw it at the most awkward angle possible (the weight being at the end of a stick, basically, imagine lifting a 20kg rock that's at the end of a stick.)

Fighting Excelsus with its own sword while being faster then a bullet is also an even better feat since that sword is at least as big as Metal Gear Ray, or close to it. Several tons of TNT in those swings and he wasn't even tired afterwards. Then he tanked another multi-ton explosion later and was completely unharmed, not even his hair was burning.

The Drifter is too, so it would end in a stalemate between the two.

Completely disagree. Without lock-on you couldn't perform directional inputs for moves and incorporate things like guard flying. We've already seen what happens when there's no lockon, i.e. DmC. IIRC, I think even DmC DE brought back lockon.

The combat androids in Nier: Andromata are honestly not terribly good. They aren't very durable or strong, though still well beyond normal human limits.

Raiden by comparison is just overpowered to the point of cartoonishness, from flipping the RAY in his underpowered body to suplexing Excelsius, he seems to defy physics on a regular basis.

Dunno all the specifics, but his pain inhibitors for example. You know, the shit that can apparently only be turned off remotely.

Raiden kills 2B. Nuclear hackerman kills Raiden and then his family.

Raiden can parry any attack from 2B.
2B can dodge any attack from Raiden.

However: If 2B gets her pod she can cheese the fight by running around Raiden and laser blasting him until he's dead. Can't parry a laser.

So what all that little fuckboi android can do is turn off Raiden's pain inhibitors which seen in game would be a bad idea to do?

9s doesn't even know what hardware that Raiden uses much less his software, he can't just hack into it because it's basically alien to him.

The laser won't do anything to him, he was unharmed from a multi-ton explosion and lifting Excelsus over his head, which is like holding a battleship over your head without flinching.

Also unless she can react to his blade mode (she can't) he can just bait a sword attack, cut through her weapon and any armor because it's not nano-anything thus not very resistant to his HF blade, and then turn her into mincemeat. The only way to win against Raiden is orbital bombardment, or ICBMS, or Sam, or Armstrong.

9S has an evade window that's like 500% larger than Raiden's, and the ability to use witch time.
Raiden isn't fast enough to do shit against him.

Raiden can also slash even faster with his normal sword, logically, as he slashed almost as fast as he does normally when he fought Excelsus in a sword fight.
This means he swung around something that's as big as a two story house faster then a bullet. (Even rain drops look frozen in blade mode, bullets move slower then raiden can move in blade mode)

Armstrong generates so much energy that he creates plasma by punching, Raiden is only a bit weaker.

In the monsoon fight the rain literally stops when you go into blade mode and Raiden can block bullets at point blank range (Gray Fox can too) so both the gameplay and lore string together to make him retardedly fast.

Raiden has survived being impaled by his own sword and walked it off, only pissed and more motivated. One hit and 9s dies instantly because his armor can't handle HF blades.
