Don't see what's wrong.

What's the issue here

You're acting like this therm is something new

STOP REMINDING ME OF REAL LIFE
REEEEEEEE

>poking fun at the retarded shit the retard president's retard spokeswoman said

Are your feelings hurt? Do you need a safe space?

I am a non American playing a game made by other non Americans.

Yet here I am having to listen to shit about American politics in my retarded non American fantasy games.
Do you see the issue here?

I think it's great, Fake News, Alternative Facts, Making X great again are going to be memes for years

Actually plenty of Americans were on FFXV development.

Video games aren't a place to put any political agenda. People don't play video games to be reminded of the world they already live in. Even for something as trivial as what OP was talking about, it is out of place and stupid.

Of course not. Everything is political now user.

And?

Lol FF is infamous for being one of the most anti religion media franchises in history. Go play Mario if you want something free of 'political agenda'

>I am a non American
Well there's your problem, shitskin

...

>everyone who isn't a fatass American is a shitskin

:^)

can you post the kanji for that scene please?

>politics is now a religion
Wew lad

But you wouldn't exactly know what that quote means if you didn't follow american politics. So most likely you have some kind of attachment to subject in hand, and what you said is just a crutch, because they mocked something you actually believed in.

Don't be an effin d-bag :^)

>But you wouldn't exactly know what that quote means if you didn't follow american politics
It's not like the phrase has been widely spread around the internet or anything.
Nah, it's because I follow American politics, you're totally right user.

>Video games aren't a place to put any political agenda.
Citation needed. Video games are a medium like everything else. There are books with a political agenda. There are movies with a political agenda. People will always work their thoughts on the world into the art they make. Tons of Final Fantasy games had political aspects to them. Get fucked, offendatron.

>People don't play video games to be reminded of the world they already live in.
Not everyone is an escapist that can't deal with his real life. Video games don't belong to people with a defunct social status. People play video games because they are fun. And even an off hand remark is fun to most people, if you aren't easily triggered by statements opposing your own belief system.

The museum one isn't that big of a change.

What's "alternative facts"? Misinterpreting objective truths to suit a certain viewpoint?
Just like the corrupt media known for coordinated smear articles and shit liek "cooking with smegma is the pinnacle of intersectional feminism" calling actual reports "fake news"?

Oh fuck off dirty redditor

>So most likely you have some kind of attachment to subject in hand, and what you said is just a crutch, because they mocked something you actually believed in.

Are you insane? It's myopic to think that American media isn't a gigantic object on English-speakers worldwide, and a staggeringly stupid leap to think that the intense focus on very topical subjects in American politics would only bother someone who identifies with the bad guy.

Like damn man. It's as if you've never even attempted to consider another person's perspective before.

Allahu Akbar

Unless a medium's core goal is to be topical commentary, it generally cheapens general media to make topical commentary. Dipping your toe in snarky references disrupts the coherence (so in ff15 it's a bit of a lost cause anyway) and tone of something whose focus should be elsewhere. Fiction focused on different worlds and times should try to appeal to more general, timeless concepts rather than specific, dated memes.

wtf does that even mean

After the orange one's inauguration, he threw a big baby tantrum about how small the crowd at the inauguration was.

So his turboweeb gundam-cosplaying press secretary (basically the President's personal PR guy) went out and flat-out lied in a press conference while getting increasingly angry and almost screaming at the press pool by the end.

The following day while the media was going "what the fuck just happened," another of his cronies went on an interview and said no, he wasn't lying, he was giving alternative facts.

It's shorthand for when a politician lies to your face, then tells you he wasn't lying.

Also this game came out in November and the alternative facts thing happened in January, so...

>>Also this game came out in November and the alternative facts thing happened in January, so...

this "alternative fact" thing is in chapter 13 verse 2, which was added as a patch recently

Ah, I didn't know that.

Well, now you get the reference, and why Sup Forums is so triggered about it.

>video games must cater to my needs and how I feel things should be
Hey Anita

Only post needed. Fall off cliffs, nimby closet alt-righters.

I don't mind it in small quips, it's really only bad when a character breaks and decides to soapbox 3 paragraphs about why transexuals are awesome. Bonus points if you have no option to disagree. Fucking nu-Baldurs Gate

>turboweeb gundam-cosplaying press secretary

Hold on, what

We basically need a new ESRB rating so this political crap gets purged from the video game industry after people realize it wont be beneficial at all.

Those fucking hipsters need to get a fucking clue.

Gonna go full fucking Alex Jones if they keep this shit up but what else is their silver bullet?

This. Either go in whole hog or don't do it at all. This is why people hate SJWs, by the way -- not because they hate equality but because the SJW version of going about it is idiotic and half-baked and gives real social activism a bad name.

Yeah I'd like to know where that came from too.

He has pictures on his twitter of him cosplaying a gundam at Katsucon

twitter.com/seanspicer/status/302491904707272704

Is this supposed to make the support the japanese version more? Because it's fucking drab.

holy shit why haven't I seen this before

is this an alternative fact?

>no white people exist outside of America
Ask me how I know you're also a Christian, and that there's a 50% chance you live in Texas.

Respect the robot.

You need to be at least 18 to post here.

desu I'm still baffled by the alternative facts statement so I see no need to get angry over this

That said, the concept of propaganda is nothing new. Its probably the localization thinking they're cheeky by using this exact translation. I've seen worse.

>ban a medical procedure because a man in the sky says so

Who cares? Does it even matter if some translators get a little cheeky?

>Like damn man. It's as if you've never even attempted to consider another person's perspective before.

So, he's American then.

Why are you triggered by a joke?

It has nothing to do with a political agenda. The empire is literally using fake news throughout the game on the radio.

>Not translating the game properly so I can be experienced the same way as everyone
Yeah hilarious joke

since chapter 1 of the game Niflheim is using fake news like saying Noctis and Luna were killed in the invasion

But it is translated properly because the empire is using fake news

>shitskin country with laws protecting shitskins calling whiter countries shitskins

Religion is just older form of politics

>don't steal, god don't want that and you will go to hell
>don't steal, society don't want that and you will go to jail

>god doesn't like X because it's blasphemous, we should ban it since bible says so with my interpretation
>I don't like X because (it hurts my profits), we should ban it since law say (with my bribes)

OP did you get triggered too whenever they mention the wall? what about in kingsglaive too?

>from the country that loves being cucked by non-whites
Stop being so trundere whiteboi.
