How the hell does Doom work as a novel?
>And then Doomguy SHOOT HIM IN THE FACE with a SHOTGUN
The books are fucking awful my man. The ending of the first book was so atrocious i didn't want to read the rest.
Did you know there was a rollercoaster tycoon book series
I don't know why but this reminded me of those.
Is this collection missing a book? I was pretty sure there was one called Hell on Earth too
>*thrash metal in the background*
...
>Doom CYOA books
>every option leads to the same page
>'Rip & Tear'
...
got this on my shelf. it's definitely fun
How do you beat Psycho Mantis on that?
Jokes aside, there's a new novelization that's the canoner than canon version of MGS that starts with MGSV, talks about how Solid had PSTD with Outer Heaven and how he remembered Big Boss with a horn and covered in blood, and ends with MGS2
...i think? I'm pretty sure i read about that somewhere
Halo is decent if you only read the eric nylund ones.
He's got a name, you know? Flynn Taggart
>He's got a name, you know?

Over Carmack's dead body
I haven't heard about it, maybe the metal gear solid substance series?
en.m.wikipedia.org
i need to read that if it really exists.
anybody know what book it is?
I had the Hell on Earth one. It was sort of like Walking Dead with less characters and more demons.
It exists, but i don't think it was ever translated

>"Merry Christmas," Snake said as he delivered two powerhouse punches, left and then right, into the guards' faces. The soldiers plopped to the floor. "I forgot to tell you -- Christmas came early this year."
pssh
...
I had an official zelda novel called quest for the triforce. Got it for Christmas 96. I tried looking for it online a while ago but couldn't find a thing. It was weird.
Anyways I remember it said that Gannon was originally one of kings guards. It also said that octoroks could be kept as pets.
I wonder if it was unofficial and got sued into oblivion
Hmm. Could be. The cover used art from lttp.
>those two covers
why are video game adaptions always weird?
what do you mean?
I want to read the novelization of FFI, sounds like it might be cool
They always show shit that not only never appear in the games, but probably wouldn't even fit nor being accepted by the makers of those games.
Either these people don't know much about the source material or just try to come up with weird ideas.
The GEX book
John Stalvern waited. The lights above him blinked and sparked out of the air. There were demons in the base. He didn’t see them, but had expected them now for years. His warnings to Cernel Joson were not listenend to and now it was too late. Far too late for now, anyway.
John was a space marine for fourteen years. When he was young he watched the spaceships and he said to dad “I want to be on the ships daddy.”
Dad said “No! You will BE KILL BY DEMONS”
There was a time when he believed him. Then as he got oldered he stopped. But now in the space station base of the UAC he knew there were demons.
“This is Joson” the radio crackered. “You must fight the demons!”
So John gotted his palsma rifle and blew up the wall.
“HE GOING TO KILL US” said the demons
“I will shoot at him” said the cyberdemon and he fired the rocket missiles. John plasmaed at him and tried to blew him up. But then the ceiling fell and they were trapped and not able to kill.
“No! I must kill the demons” he shouted
The radio said “No, John. You are the demons”
And then John was a zombie.
Yep, I had that one. I bought the first two but even as a kid I didn't think much of them. But worth keeping them for the cover art.
FF10 official sequel comic
I dare you to beat blitzball bombs and headless necro-sex
>comic
wasn't it a drama cd or something?
Yeah something like that I don't know why I said comic
liek if u cry evrytiem
I read Halo: The Flood and that was a pretty good book.
>How do you beat Psycho Mantis on that?
The entire fight is a palindrome. When you reach the end it tells you snake dies and to turn back a page. It's only when you read the fight backwards that you see what really happened.
I also watch super bunny hop.
Carmack is a code monkey, Romero is god
...
A god who become a failed mobile dev without his codemonkey?
That quote is well known to any MGS fan.
Imagining this line in Hayter's tobacco-and-gravel drawl is killing me.
vidya novels are made only to get social outcasts and autistic vidya nerds to do their book reports for school
Worlds of Power.
It's honestly like a 7.5-8/10.
Reach, First Strike and Ghosts are amazing
